Not really, I assume they balanced out his above-herald showing with his past showings, or stuff. Hard to say exactly.

IIRC, he one shot Thor after being dropped by a Mjolnir throw. But Thor had just suffered one of his seizures etc. and Annihilus was amped by the life forces of dozens of Asgardians. Later Thor withstood a blast from him (Although it tasked him), and when he got series, even start winning despite the cosmic energies being unleashed IIRC.

Masterson Thor was stunned for like two panels by a blast to the face from an amped Annihilus who had a portion of the Odin Force synthesized and absorbed.

Based on their encounters, Thor wins like 7-8/10 against Annihilus. His main offense, energy blasts from the Cosmic Control Rod, is negated by the superior Mjolnir as we know, and in purely physical/personal power, Thor is superior to Annihilus. And that was a weakened Thor and the Masterson version.

Hulk has a decent shot. I don't think Annihilus can put him down without working for it. Not with his healing factor and damage soak. And if Hulk gets up close, I favor him. For Annihilus to stomp, he'd have to use an indirect method to win.
