DC's best stories come from side books they rarely give a **** about like Mr Miracle. Their events are ass

No, it wasn't. It was interesting of sorts,Like what would happen if the heroes went off the rails instead. The villain change and process (Carnage heroic, Loki worthy) and Kluh running around (plus the side stories with Dr Strange and Kitty etc..) were proper side stories in itself.
Even the temporary connections to the event (Mighty Avengers vs Inverted Avengers etc) were great.
