When he transforms to and from Banner, where does the 'bulk' come from then go to?

nope, just an "extra-dimensional" source. Nothing stated about it being a pocket-dimension.
Also, Hulk does get extra mass from 616 Gamma, whenever there's a concentrated enough amount of it present (say a bomb or two).
