With comics, what makes you say "okay, that's enough"?

Got this idea from this thing

http://robot6.comicbookresources.co...y-thats-enough/

So what makes you say okay thats enough for a particuler comic?

For me its when the writer has totally missed the whole point of the character and what he's there for, Matt Fraction run on Punisher for one.

Fraction again.

Him, Kyle and Yost's handling of Cyclops has made me give up on X-Men TWICE since they've come aboard.

Robinson's work on Superman came close. Same with McDuffie and Robinson on JLA (i actually don't read JLA anymore either).

When characters can destroy a universe, let alone a multiverse or the omniverse.

Please. Enough.

Retconning good ideas ruining their point in the first place. Comics would be so much better if dead was dead, not just waiting for their big return again.

Paks and Loebs dumb PIS writing.

Deadpool, hes was funny at first but now its old and lame. Its time for him to be serious

Stop having Wolverine on every damn team.

Thor has to be kicking ass again, tired of this crappy writing and low end crap.

Though on the 'dead is dead' thing, I'll note that the real problem isn't really on the resurrection side- resurrections wouldn't be a problem if character death in the first place wasn't so often used for cheap drama.

We don't care about the deaths so they're undone in 2 years.

If characters only died when it *mattered* and fit the story, then there'd be no need for all these cheap resurrections too. Overused death is what cheapens death in comics, rezzes are just a symptom.

Geoff Johns.

The dude can never be content with how any character is written, he's always got to put his own little twist on them... And more times then not, I don't really care for those twists.

I'm not seeing many examples from people who have actually quit a book or a writer, after reading something they hated; isn't that the topic?

In the late 1980's, I decided Tom DeFalco was one of my least favourite writers. I sat out THOR for years until he was gone.

Grant Morrison:

Mystery, symbols, and something never before seen is about to happen! Oh, it's going to change the history of the character

FOREVER!!!!! You will NEVER see anything like this in COMIC BOOKS!

OMG! It's going to happen! Everything is coming to you hard, fast, shocking, and it is HUGE!

IT IS...

IT IS....

(.....)

There you go!

If you don't get it or understand it is because you're either STUPID, A COMPLETE IDIOT, LOW MINDED, AN IMBECILE, POORLY EVOLVED and so much. It takes a great mind to know what Morrison have writen....you don't have it...you're stupid.

The End.

[insert Damian Wayne somewhere for comedic stuff that only Morrison and his fanboys find hysterical funny]

Please Morrison...that's enough...we're too stupid too understand and comprehend your greatness.
