My box sets are on 2 small bookshelves in my den, as are my HD-DVDs. My dvds are in 6 leather 308 capacity binders on afore mentioned book shelves. My dvd cases are in 3 rubbermaid tubs in my storage shed.

I have no idea but personally I have more than 250 maybe more I have never really counted them! I really should though. But that doesnt include all my boxsets. I have a dozen H-D dvds too! :P
I need all the boxes, wouldn't like them in leather books. So I'm running out of places lol, got them in very tall piles at the moment for the ones that can't go on the shelves now because of no space...
Shelf space is the only thing that's really a problem for me with DVDs. What are everyone's thoughts on the digital movement? i.e. an external hard drive with your titles to save some shelf space?
I keep all my cases. I have them in big ass rubermaid tubs in my shed. If I ever want to sell duplicates when newer releases come out, I just put them back in the og case. If for some odd reason I ever want 1200 dvds in cases consuming a wall in my den, I've still got the cases so I've still got the option. It's purely a space saver. With over 100 box sets, I take up enough room with dvds as it is.
I have no clue how many dvd's I have. I have a ton of anime box sets and dvd's. But as far as real movies go, I'm lacking severely. Trying to expand my collection.
