Yes, I'm aware a number of these bands are from the 80's but a good portion of their respective discographies are from the 90's.

Oh and I also feel that System of a Down should be recognized even though most of their best songs came out in the early 2000's they were formed in the late 90's

I'm surprised that after reading all these lists, Blind Melon wasn't mentioned even once. I mean, even the ****ing SPICE GIRLS were mentioned (I'm really hoping sarcastically).
I absolutely hated them when I was a kid since I primarily listened to metal (and still do), but I think Matthew Good Band is a really underrated band that made some truly killer tracks in the late 90s.
