Thanks. Seems like he may have intended it to be Hulk initially but it didn't end up that way, "Hulk" is also red. That scene wouldn't have been out of place from his fight with Ross in Hulk #6.
He said it was originally intended to be the Hulk, but it does matter because that isn't what we ended up with on panel.
Just saying if you wish to highlight aspects of Hulk v Thor history there are much clearer and relevant examples than one panel of a fight between Thor and a creature which may or may not have been the Hulk.
You are in a respect thread saying a lot of bullshit. Kevin said that Thor was supposed to be in his classic costume end of story. If there was a way to rewrite the comic he would.
I not going to argue with the Thor fanboys over a non-canon comic. And they say Pak was wanking Hulk up. I thought this was supposed to be in a respect thread for Thor. Here's a blurry scan for Thor. Far from being so slow
Unfortunately, true. Some Thor fanboys go to extremes to downplay Hulk and/or show Thor in favorable light: they'll use out of continuity books, what-ifs, etc. I don't doubt they'll start using fan fiction someday... ridiculous.
If you want to see Thor moving fast then just read Thor 337. He engages Skuttlebutt at multiples of light speed.
I agree though, no need to over analyze feats. Thor has lots of them and frankly would beat the Hulk in most any given scenario assuming he uses all his powers.
If you want to read a great Hulk-Thor fight then read Thor 389 I believe where he fights the Hulk without his hammer. Bottom line, Thor gives as good as he gets but loses in the end. Hulk pretty much admits that it would be a different story if Thor uses his hammer.
Worst post in this Thor respect thread so far, facepalm for you.
You talk like Hulk fanboys doesn't do that at all, like the What-if where WWH was stalemating OdinforceThor or "Let the battle begin" or some making an argument that a savage hulk can beat a Warrior-madness Thor because it was show in a comic where Thor wouldn't survive a nuke!!
That comic shows what an specific writer called Kevin think about Thor WITH HAMMER vs Hulk, there are some interviews where he says that Hulk can only match Thor's strength at his best(angriest).
Lee also believe in that but naturally there are some who doesn't believe that.

Does Thor know any actual magic? Any evidence of him ever casting spells or invoking powers ala Dr. Strange?
Below is a synopsis of what Dr. Strange does:
A lot of that, not all, but a lot of that seems like things Thor can do.
So, do you consider him an actual magic user in a sorcerous sense?
I'm looking at things like, Thor's called on his father, a divine being.
Dr. Strange has his Eye of Agamotto, Thor has Mjolnir.
Thor can project mystic energy as bolts, shields, or a scattered array of energy appearing like electricity, manipulating matter and various energies, even transmutation of matter, controlling the elements, opening or sealing mystical portals to other realms, teleportation or dimensional travel.
Isnt he then doing the same things as Dr. Strange?
I know its a stretch but, its something i've always wondered, and, i thought this might distract from the last bout of conversation...
in the latest Uncanny Avengers issue Thor comes out of the flaming portal (?) where he was banished in the previous issue seemingly unharmed. great durability feat
