That Elder God was a pussy. And Aegis didn't one shot Surfer in the second fight, which Carver was using masterfully (I might add) to nail home his point into your anus.
Also, it looks like Superman wasn't even there when the moon kablew up.
Statement are just that................a statement. Superman tanked that shit despite whatever Steel said. Surfer was nearly killed by just deflecting a random space-ship though.
Superman didn't disagree. Also, by the time the ship hit earth, it was nearly halted since the Doomsday slayer slowed it down along with Superman pushing against it.
Not that fast bro. Surfer was convinced that he would get killed and Alicia was afraid he was killed. Artists don't show wounds on surfer's skin often. Heck he was not even scratched when Thanos nearly killed him.
He watched everyone getting killed as evidenced in the last scan.
He didn't disagree because he trusts steel. Your memory is wrong as usual. Steel made his assumption after the ship was slowed down by doomslayer.
Also pre dos superman had to tank the moon explosion in order to be displaced on time, since the explosion took place in the future and supeman gets sent back to the present he survived the explosion.
This is an old old feat for him.

In the Thanos scene, we know for certain Surfer was almost dead, because it was stated on panel for us that Thanos preserved only a small flicker of his life force in him.
In the space ship scene, we have no clue how close or far from death Surfer was. All we know is that he was briefly knocked out, and recovered extremely fast, and with no injuries. The fact that he recovered so fast, and seemed back to normal afterwards, likely means he was far from death.
Alicia was wrong. Dead wrong. Get it? Alicia is Surfer's lover. Of course she'd be overly worried about his safety.
Surfer deflected the comet, and Alicia asked "at what cost?"
And Surfer wakes up and replies "no cost", and proceeds to get up to inspect the robot as if nothing happened. He recovered near instantly, and didn't show signs injuries. The type you'd expect from being close to death.
Alicia's statements are just that....statements. And to quote you directly:
