Caught this recently. Great movie. The slo-mo got on my nerves at times, but overall it's a definite thumbs up from me.

So yeah want that sequel. But we obviously won't get one.

Fair enough. Yeah, I didn't do that, and I am ashamed. *hangs head low* But, in my defense, this article (click image below) brought up an interesting point, that the title "Dredd 3D" made it seem gimmicky. And that was kind of my impression actually. Not good marketing for a film like this. Anyway...

The article is about how Karl Urban is trying hard to get support for a sequel and mentions that the DVD sales have been noticed and that there are actually some "conversations" happening... far from a greenlight, but still encouraging.

They can but if it doesn't actually send any money their way it is probably ignored.

Maybe if the Raid 2 does good maybe it will help them to make a Dredd sequel.
