And jinzin you responded to my post on pg. 115 but you did base most of that response on your opinion of how weak the webbing was...

It must have been an opinion because you surely can't DISPROVE the fact that the webbing is FAR FAR superior to chains!!

Why keep using chains as an example? That's as much of an understatement as someone comparing Wolverines claws to knives....

Seriously I KNOW that as familiar with comics as you are you don't think that the webbing is anywhere near WEAK!!

Wolverine negated the stuff and that's ridiculous!! Unless there was some EXPLANATION as to how the webbing became FAR weaker than it has EVER been.

And truly thats beside the point because as I've said many times I AM NOT REFERING TO THE ENHANCED SPIDEY ANY MORE THAN I'M REFERING TO THE SCARLET SPIDER!!

I entered this basing my opinions on the ORIGINAL version. I KNOW what he can and can't do.

I have to say that Spidey wins this fight.He just has to avoid Wolverine's claws and do enough damage so that he won't be able to recover.

Spidey wins because of his agility and smarts.

His webbing tensile strength is 120,000 lbs per square meter.

I think most are arguing for its own sake, using the same tired, examples, bringing us back to point A once again.

All Spidey has to do is evade Wolverine's claws which is easy considering how much more ranged ability he has. From a distance he can web Wolvie up into a position where he can't get any leverage to cut himself free, because he's not capable of breaking free due to sheer strength alone.

Another strategem he may employ is a well aimed shot of webbing into the throat as Wolvie growls at him would cause asphyxiation, that even a healing factor can't cope with. 😄

Man he can just be dumped in the river, seriously, wolverine is souped up, and is a notch below spiderman, wolverine has his uses, but I know his limits, wolverine is best against tons of humans, spidey is best with tons of superhumans.

Exactly. As I've said from the very beginning, Spiderman wins.

As soon as I get back to my house later tonight (I'm at work right now), I can post a picture of Wolvie completely webbed up with his knuckles forced up against the sides of his head and completely suspended above an alley by Spiderman. It's hilarious. Wolvie's pissed off cause he can't move at all and he can't use his claws. He's just got to wait for the webbing to disolve.
