i will freely admit that i haven't read a ton of Batman comics.... but i have seen Spider-Man punch through walls, brick chimneys, bust up boulders in the park (when he got pissed at himself for not finding these hostages he was looking for) he puched his way out of a bulletproof (supposedly unbreakable) cage when he and the Torch were trapped by the Fox (back in Spider-Man unlimited) he's torn through various metals, he knocked out Tombstone (who is bulletproof and has taken hits from RPGs) ...... the list could go on and on
