He's not gonna be webbing him in the face from a quarter mile away. For him to accomplish this, he would have to be in the danger zone, take a moment to hold out his arm and aim, flex his wrist.. or whatever the heck he does, and pray that in the time the goo is flying through the air, Wolverine doesn't move. Doesn't sound very likely. It may be possible, but the price would be pretty steep... an open rib cage and a chance to check out how all of your organs are arranged.... well, how they used to be anyway.

seriously cresh... in the 5-10 secs (at best) wolverine takes to do that... there will be a follow up shot of web... wolverine won't be moving much if his whole body is trapped....

The only logical explanation that I could make for Wolvie getting of the wall in the training session that I've never considered a fight is one I've given before. I think Spidey was using organics when that happened, there's a possibility the organics are weak or take a bit to harden. When Spidey webbed Wolvie up in MTU or whatever it was, I think Wolvies claws were out 'cause he was ready to f**k that kid up, and from the way he was making threats, he was ready to try and do the same to Spidey.

Guys, guys, this is a fanboy mess! Spidey and Wolvie obviously have the greatest followings within Marvel nowdays, but Spidey doesn't seem to have the same favorite backlash Wolvies seems to be reciving. One of the key points I must point out from a different perspective is that every writer it seems makes anew character who is "badass" in his eyes....How do you prove this? You put him into a fight with Marvel's Badass king: Wolverine. So many of Wolvies defeats should be swept away due to writer stupidity...like Spidey's Clone Saga. So you must look at A) Theoverall ability that the conitnuity has given them and B) Logical aplications of thier abilitys. Also with this there is the aplication of personality's.
So, if by some mysterious plot line these two end up in a knock down, drag out fight Wolverine wins...here's why. Wolverine's fighting ability is the top within Marvel, if not all of comics. He has lived and trained for centuries, with all or at least many martial arts, comando techniqes and with many, many different weapons. Compounded with a healing factor, enchanced senses and an adimantium laced bone structure.....he's, in a martial sence, unstopable. Compound this with his personality....he is full and willing to do masive damage. Spidy really has no fighting skill beyond his agility and creativity. Which granted is damn good, could be manipulated by a trianed fighter. He, with his spider sences has been hit several times (and not counting Venom or Carnage whom disrupt his senses). And Wolverine out performs many or all of these villans. Also Spidey tendes to be distracted and less than serious, he bides his time, spits out quips and whatnot.....that is a fatal error in this fight. Wolverine would set up spidey's dodge's until there was a sure hit and that is all it would take. one hit, claws out *slice* its all over. They can cut through steel like butter people, you do not want to be hit by these things. Even if Spidy takes the fight directly to Logan, the favor falls in Logans court. He has fought and trianed against Precog's Telipaths and the like....Spidey is still screwed. If you can predict where someone's going to attack...the fight is over. On top of this Logan with his healing Factor can screw up and get hit....he'll get better.....Spidey can not afford to, one hit and its all over. On top of this do not underestimate Wolverine's on agility, granted not as fast as Spidermans' expecialy in the air, gymnist-wize, is still really impressive......he's caught Quicksilver off gaurd before. As I said it's all training in the end.

1. Wolverine is only around 120-130 years old. Not centuries.
2. Batman, Batgirl, Lady Shiva, Karate Kid, Captain America, Green Arrow, etc...are all better martial artists/fighters.
3. He isn't unstoppable. His healing factor can and has been overloaded before. And it's not as hard as some might think.
4. If Spidey really just wanted a stalemate, he could dodge Wolverine's claws all day long until the planets allign.
5. "caught Quicksilver off guard". Honestly, that's not that hard to do. As powerful as Quicksilver could be, his arrogance makes him weak, and easily surprisable. He gets caught off guard more in comics then most other characters do. So, that's not really saying much.
And, for #6.
This fight is bloodlust. Meaning that both of them are fighting to the best of their ability and not holding back. Basically meaning that Spidey is not going to be tossing out jokes and insults, but rather he'll be taking it to Wolverine like he just killed Mary Jane. But, before you spaz, he won't be out of his mind while fighting. Those are the rules here on KMC. Fighting to the best of their ability, but not out of control (rage or something like that).
I love how on all these bord people are so wonderfully nice (sarcasm if ya couldn't tell) People love down sising peoples opnions in order to back up there own, I try not to do that but if ya wanna get dirty here ya go. Batman better.......eeeeh wrong Bats traind for what 20 years? Green Arrow? Ha! Give me a break dude....he'd have trouble with a gaggle of 5 year olds with bats.
