Cresh they are only suffocating when they don't hold themselves up. This requires great effort, so they can't hold themselves up all the time and they tire and die. They can still get air to their lungs when they hold themselves up. Filling airways with webbing means no air gets to the lungs immediately.

How does spidey get Logan on the cross to begin with? When Wolverine was crusified he was beatin to near death by Lady Deathstrike, Pierce and the Reavers. How is Spidey going to do that without getting himself killed. And keep in mind as easily as you say he dodges and strikes him then webs him up I could say Wolvey dodges the hit or the webs. it seems that this argument is rather a post-fight not the fight itself.

Well, the main thing behind this argument is the suffocation, right. Well in order for this webbing idea to work it would have to be similar in physical structure. the reason why it causes affixiation is due to the weight distribution on the body of whomever is in said position. it wouldn't work as well if it were a wall, lightpost or something....it also takes a long time for this type of exuahstion to occur in normal humans. As for the whole webs are faser thing.......I'll give you a can of silly string and I'll come at you with bowie knives.....see if you can cover my face or wrists by the time I gut you.

I never said that Spidey would put Logan on the cross. me and cresh were discussing if we think it is possible if wolverine can be suffocated by webbing when once he survived being on a cross........

how do you know he's unconcious? after a while he will tire out and lose conciousness granted, but not as soon as he is up on the cross. If spidey webs up his airways, he won't immediately become unconcious but he will after a matter of seconds, and eventually he will die......

1. he covers his whole body, not just Logans hands and head.
2. Logan can survive for about an hour without air.

well

1. you get to compare wolvies claws to proper blades whereas spidey gets silly string for web
2. You won't be able to get the knives anywhere near your opponent and you'll get absoloutely covered in silly string if your opponent has spidey's speed and you have wolverine's speed

I disagree....the webs are fast (the reason I used silly string is it is the closest reality counterpart i could think of) but I think that Logan could at least reach Spidey before it totally engulkfed him there for interupting the flow.....then logan would tear it off and prolly avoid the webs from there on out.....I thing in this confrentation the webs are more of a secondary weapon due to the techniques of the opponent.

So his healing factor was already beat up when he spent the three days on the cross, at full health he could probably last much longer. . . 🙂

oh I wasn't referring to that specific situation. Sorry I wasn't clear. I was just saying in comparison, if you stuck Normal Logan on a cross, then with another normal Logan, you shoved webbing down his airway. Cross logan dies slowly over a few days whereas webbing Logan dies in a matter of seconds.................
