out of character? not at all, wolverine takes punches from the Hulk with ease. even when he didn't have his adamantium he was able to take a could full on shots from the Hulk. It's not out of characterfor wolverine in the least. Bad writing maybe, but not out of character.

Anyway's the spine (aside from some of the fused bones themselves, is held together with spungy intervertebral disks made from cartilage (sp?) as well as a series of ligaments, including the intertransverse ligaments which run the length of the spine, but that aside, Wolverine's entire skeleton is "bonded" at the molecular level, BONDED I SAY it's been stated in a friggin comic, that's why whenever wolverine gets melted or burned or zapped into dust and his skeleton is all that's left, it's still in one peice, otherwise it would fall onto the floor in shammbles. it's not my friggin opinion, it's just what's in the comics, if it was meant to be realistic, he wouldn't be running around in a banana suit with wolf ears, among other things, but that's why their friggin comics.

If he skeleton was bonded like that he would either not be able to move or suck at fighting because of the hindered movement. He'd have to get a loop of web around Wolverine's neck garrote style, which I'm not saying would be exactly easy, and yank.

A human who heals fast (with no super strength) and gets right back up
from getting pounded by the Hulk is the absolute epitomy of bad writing.
The fact that some people accept this and use it in their pro-Wolverine
arguments just goes to show at what lengths fanboys go.
We've had people here argue that Wolverine could take out Godzilla!!!
Wolverine fans can't seem to draw the line between their imagination
and the comic world.

dude fanboys a little harsh (sniff sometimes words hurt. If you've read half of my wolverine arguments then you would know that as much of a fan as I am of wolvie's I concede when he's in a fight he ain't winning. The point is I don't take the CWA out of things and try to find reasons for why they happened that may explain. Maybe wolverine standing up to 2 shots from namor was one of those one in 1000 chances (like when people skydive, their parachutes don't open and yet they survive without a scratch, or at most a broken bone or two) there's no need to say it's completely impossible or that it didn't happen when it did, it's just not likely (I'm not about to go skydiving without a parachute any time soon ya know what i mean?). Anyway's my point is full on hulk shots don't take off wolvie's head, what hope does spiderman have to accomplish such a ridiculous task?

And swanky, don't shoot the messenger, I didn't make that up it was quoted in a damn comic, personally I don't see how wolvies able to bend his wrists, but hey, it's comics man.

I know you say Wolvie taking 2 from Namor is one of those
1 in 1000 things, but if you read all of Wolvie's appearences
lately, this kind of stuff is happening ALL THE TIME. Not just 1 in 1000.
It's like a freakin' epidemic. Marvel is so busy trying to make fanboys
happy that they've completely lost all continuity and consistency....
the two things Marvel used to pride themselves on.

Alot of the guys think they no so much about woverine and spidey, Wolverine takes shots from the hulk, wolverine gets up from being nuked, wolverine is insestuctabe; all bull****. wolverine would get crippled from the hulk and of course spidey. I am not saying this because I am a spidey fan; but because I am going by the true stats of each character wolverine can be beat and killed. At least you know your ish glad yo on the spidey side.

wolverine is not all that take a look at wolverine #126 and then you will see.
