Personally i've always liked Wolvie and always thought
he was one of the coolest characters in the history of comics.
Now, Wolverine is quickly becoming the most inconsistantly
written character in comic book history.
In one book, Daredevil kicks him across his living room.
In another book, Namor punches Logan in the face twice,
and he barely moves or falls.
These two books came out in the same month.
I'm just scratching the surface here.
Marvel is cultivating fanboys instead of comic fans.
If you read a wide variety of Marvel titles every month (like I do),
you will begin to see an over-all pattern of this.
Instead of great writing, they're relying on the constant
changing and "up-grading" of most of they're characters.
I don't even know what anyone can do anymore??!!!???
She-Hulk keeps getting stronger.
All the mutants keep getting new powers.
Everyone and their grandmother is getting a healing factor,
an adamantium-laced skeleton, and some claws.
Marvel's best books are the alternate-reality stuff: ULTIMATES.
DC just came out with one book: Countdown to Infinite Crisis.
One book. One dollar. 80 pages. Blows anything Marvel's done
in recent years out of the water.
And I've traditionally preferred Marvel over DC.

i agree, but not with just the ultimates, i like the whole ultimate universe. Why? It only has one continuity. But about DCs Infinite crisis... yeah, it was great, and only 80 pgs for a dollar, but that's because its only a promo. Remember how good identity crisis was (until the last issue, which sucked). Well, instead of you only having to buy one book a month, DC wants you to buy 4 books a month, all of which are must-haves if you wish to follow infinite crisis. So yeah, i hope its good, but DC had better damn give me 80 pages for a buck to get me to pay 16 dollars for the 80 pages every month starting this summer!

I dont know how much you really know about wolverine. There are times he gets hit by bullets, and there are times where he walks through them. There are times where he heals instantly from nukes and there are times where he's sleeping after he gets hit by a single punch. Wolverine is a horribly written and overated character. Let me tell you about wolvies healing; he heals fast, thats it. In truth it hurts him it just takes time depending on the type of injury it is. Wolverine is not invincibe if thats where you are getting at. Wolverine is not immortal, however. If the injuries are extensive enough, especially if they result in the loss of vital organs, large amounts of blood, and/or loss of physical form (such as having flesh burned away by fire or acid), Logan can die. I am pretty sure a nuke is supposed to nuke. wolverine shouldn't survive that.
The radioactive spider that bit Peter transferred its characteristics into his 'puny' DNA. Among these was the proportionate strength of a common house spider. His enormous spider-strength allows him to lift or press 10 tons or more (if he's under stress), and perform all kinds of life-saving feats (including lifting buses and shielding little kids from falling debris.) His strength also helps him crash into Four Freedoms Plaza whenever he feels like it.
Spidey's might makes him deadly in hand-to-hand combat, which is his main form of direct attack. He uses strength with his spider-sense and speed in combat, making him extremely hard to surprise, harder to hit, and even harder to withstand. Spidey can go toe-to-toe with a lot of villans in the Marvel universe, and has even held his own against the Hulk from time to time (without the Captain Universe power, even). The greatest advantage of this is...we get to watch him beat the bad-guys silly!
His incredible physical power gives him great endurance, and also helps him take lots of damage. This, coupled with the Parker determination, makes him virtually unstoppable! Basically this little piece I found says that Wolverine does not stand a chance. Spider-Man has a total of four powers, Spider-Strength, Spider-Speed, Spider-Grip, and Spider-Sense. The combination of these amazing abilities, as well as all of his equipment make him one of the most powerful, dynamic, and undefeatable heroes of all time!
To all the people who think that wolverine would beat spiderman all the time if not most of the time; read this. oy, another one of those guys. Spidey can't physically harm wolverine. Wolverine takes hulk 100 class shots and keeps coming, Spiderman doesn't have the destructive force of a bomb in his punch, not the way that hulk does, and spidey's already given wolverine everything hehad physically and it didn't ensure him victory, the only way for spidey to win this much like the spidey vs. sabretooth fight is to web him up thus subduing him.
