No, he is not. At least not in the sense that you're driving at. He's about as "superhuman" as Captain America or Batman. He can't throw around cars, has no superspeed, etc.

Those two instances are the only ones I can recall where Wolverine shows more then one instance of more-then-human strenght.

nope it not a tree at all it part of a port. any ways the scotich don;t pick up trees that size im scotish iv ewatch the games not a single guy cna pick that up not even2 or 3.
any ways it not that whats amzaing about the feat is he has no trouble doing it and then swings it like a bat. wich if u did the equation I forget what it is but for him to do that he have to be able to lift soem thing like 3 or 4 tiems teh tree or more.

I'm familiar with both cases. The garbage container weighed, at most, half a ton...and he didn't heft it with one hand. In the frame for the throw, one hand was extended farther than the other, but that's the way people normally throw things for accuracy.
The elevator he didn't hold for very long, and it was only being held up by his skeleton. He didn't have his arm bent, he wasn't pulling the elevator back up...he was just dangling there.
I sincerely doubt he's even a 1-tonner.

the elevator feat u also try and down play. fist his arm is slightly pench up meaning he cleraly holding it up. if he was no storng enough his body would simply auto let go. also wolverine holds it long enough for every one toget out and the only reason he dropped it was because a 100 ton characte rpunch him well holding it. also wolverien was holding that up well holding on to just wirer making that feat even more impressive
