Well wolverine tried attacking spider-man and the kid, they ran away, wolverine corned them and threatened them so Spider-man went on the offensive, so in a way Spider-man got the first hit an ended it then and there, after all some1 had to start the fight. And seeing as wolverine had threatend them he was obviosuly prepared for a fight.

wolevrien was threating spiderman to move outa his way becuase spidemran had no diea what was going on. if wolverine was ready for the fight why was he talking and his claws were in?

Which seemed like a threat to me, so Spider-man went for the first hit, instead of wolverine. And maybe he didn't have his claws out because he didnt have the intention of killing him just wanted to subdue him or something.

The New Avengers split the team in half and fight. Wolverine takes out Spider-Man in front of the entire team of New Avengers with one hit. He even stands there and lets Spider-Man beat on him (which again had no effect) and then Parker passed out from blood loss.
Wolverine wins.

spiderman gave wolverine his all.. he still failed to beat him
he consistantly fails to dodge wolverine's punches...
he's tried to web a battle ready wolverine 3 times and failed on every occasion...
he's been KOed by one hit from wolvie...

the only time wolverine hit spider-man in the graveyard was when spider-man let him hit him so that is void, the rooftop fight...I'll give you that, and what are the other 2? 1 is when wolverine stabs him against when training with the avengers but whats the other...
when wolverine was going to kill punisher and spiderman tried to web him against a wall... wolverine broke and slashed the webbing off and flipkicked spiderman in the nutsack for his troubles....
and no the graveyard isn't void... spiderman loses by default...
they ended in what? "a stalemate" you say?... the fact is spiderman makes several comments about going all out on wolverine.. wolverine held back and they ended in a "stalemate"...
the only problem with that stalemate is that wolverine could have EASILY killed spiderman and spiderman's only hope of taking wolverine down at that point was to do something that numberous feats have proven can't be done unless you have above hulk level strength..... spiderman isn't stronger than hulk.. he couldn't break wolverine's neck.. wolverine however COULD pop his claws through spiderman's brain while spiderman struggled to try....

Oh never read or heard about that one. But if Spider-man had not let him hit him, then wolverine wouldnt have been able to make the finishing blow either.

I mean he didn't have time for anything fancy.. he said he couldn't give logan a second or logan would kill him... he said there was only ONE way for him to take logan out.. and that wasn't going to work... he loses by default...
