Even though all of u have most likely already seen this picture, I like showing it. WOLVERINE WINS!!!!

The Wolverine fans have an odd way of using 0.003% of the opposing characters appearences in debates and forgetting all the other comics that have appeared over the decades that the characters have been published. Those 0.003% that Wolverine fans show are just fittingly the ones where the character fights dumb...which just happens to be when they fight against Wolverine. Example:
"In this fight, Spider-Man punches Wolverine in the head over and over again! Wolverine wins!"
"You realize that Spider-Man has never fought that stupidly in 99% of his appearences? Which makes that comic obviously an glaring example of bad writing?"
"OMG you Wolverine haterz always use that as an excuse! Wolverine wins!"
"So it would be okay for me to use this Ennis comic as an example...?"
"No, because Ennis is a Wolverine hater and doesn't write him correctly!"
"But...uhh...Spider-Man isn't written correctly here either...he is a genius, he wouldn't just hit in the same place again and again since it obviously doesn't work...he doesn't even use his webs in the way he can...so how does this example is any better?"
"Because...uhh...Wolverine wins! Shut up hater! You always say "PIS!" everywhere!"
"I say it when it applies, and it clearly applies here..."
"You just can't see your character lose!"
"No...I think you are the one appearing to have that problem here..."

So what does being a genius have to do with fighting? Bill gates is a genius and he would get his ass kicked by Ray mysterio.Seeing how that took place in a matter of seconds there really no reason he would not do so. He may be smart, but he no combat master. He also had no knowledge of wolverines powers or abilites. Also back then he was impulsive like he is now, but even more so. He also has done thing similar on many occasion such as vs morlun and so on.
Spiderman is impulsive and has proven to do such things on many occasion. The way he fought Wolverine was in no way out of character.
hazing.
Bill Gates would indeed get his ass handed to him by Ray Mysterio, but then again Bill isn't many, many times stronger, faster and more agile than Ray is.
Face it, that was a pretty stupid comment to make. DarkCrawler was making the point that Spider-Man is extremely intelligent, written well he'd see that a certain attack isn't working and immediately change strategies...he's no Rhino.
Not sure if I've replied to this thread yet. Spider-Man wins 🙂

You are stereotyping now and what you said of course is not true because not all wolverine fan do this, most don’t actually. Also the same could be said of any characters fans. This of course is purely your opinion and this claim again could be made to any characters fans.
You are using one fans opinion and acting as if that is every fans opinion. Spiderman fans have said thing much worse then this before yet you don’t quote that. Also who said this? Or are you manly making up crap so it makes your self look good?
How is this bad writing? How did spiderman fight stupidly? Also spiderman has shown repeatedly to be quite impulsive at times and tends to make bad moves.
Again one fans statement and you act as if ever fan of wolverine says it that of course is stereotyping which in no way helps your argument.
No Ennis writes some pretty crappy stuff and if you use ennis crap he has punisher do vs wolverine as proof then you must also use what ennis has punisher do to spiderman as proof as well. By the way Ennis has had punisher make spiderman look like a fool on many occasion and I ignore them becuase there obvious PIS. But if you stoop so low to use that crap he does vs wolverine as proof I will be forced to bring up what he does to spiderman such as putting spiderman in a head lock and over powering him.
Again your stereotyping. I would also like that Ennis is a hack and he hates spiderman as well.

This quote is correct DC you do appear to have a problem. You need to deal with the fact some fans don’t agree with you and you must stop with your stereotyping of people just because they like a certain character. Also do not post any more crap like this. Post facts and real comments no this crap about certain fans because that just pointless hazing.
Umm....did you just say that Spider-Man punching someone in head repeatly when it obviously doesn't work is in character...? When I said that Spider-Man is a genius, I also meant that he is that in fighting. He's fought crime since he was fifteen. He has experience and has seen things that dwarfs most superheroes. Hell, even when he started, he never used the same attack that didn't work at enemy.
As for Ennis, he makes Wolverine look like a idiot who is put down by such things like a punch to the balls when he has taken FAAAR worse hundreds of times. As for the guy who wrote the fight what I am talking about, he made Spider-Man look like a dumbass who repeats a same attack after the first time didn't work, when he has fought FAAAR more smarter in hundreds of appearences.
I do not see the difference between the two. That's why I don't think using either of them is very smart in debates.
What else could he have done? He was already in melee with Wolverine and needed to constantly assault him to keep Wolverine from putting up a defence. If he laid off on his barrage of punches to try to web up Wolverine he would have lost his advantage of the situation. Even so Wolverine still managed to get the upperhand. The fight started in melee and it stayed that way, Spider-man never had the chance to web up Wolverine... the only other thing Spider-man could have done in the situation was sit back and let Wolverine kick his ass.
And Spider-man doesn't have experience to dwarf other heroes. He has a appearance that started earlier then most but story wise he is only in his mid thirties. Most heroes have combat experience that dwarfs his. And how smart of a fighter could Spider-man possibly be? His fighting style has him jumping around like a jack rabit on crack. That is prehaps the worst possible fighting style for someone in his speed class.
