Damn you guys ares till discussing this....
Nah, I said what I wanted to say about this fight a long time ago. Now I just consider this thread light entertainment - anytime Wolverine is involved in a versus thread nowadays, I consider that thread light entertainment. I have had Wolverine fanboys argue exactly the opposite of what happened in a fight - with the scans right in front of them.
So I ain't arguing with them anymore - if you argue with an idiot, they are gonna drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience... 😛
Which is a pity, because I actually still like the Wolverine character, and I would hae liked to enter some debates about him. But I've been in this forum for a couple of years now, and my disbelief at the incredible arguments these (very creative, I have to give them that) boys have come up with have turned into a kind of wry, wearied amusement.
Now, if I want a decent debate, I choose an individual who has proven himself reasonable and respectful of others' opinions, or I go the Religious or Philosophy sections.
I just hope this thread never dies, because DAMN! This thread has exceeded even my wildest expectations - and it just keeps on getting better! 😄

That must be it. Wolverine can dodge optic blasts at point blank and when not looking, but Spider-Man flipping in the air is just too much. 🙄
Me thinks it twas:
That wasn't actually a serious response you know...Just trying to proove a point that alot to do with that scene is speculation.

in a fight things would definitely go differently to that point I agree...though i firmly beleive that if he had his claws out a spin of the wrists gets him out.. didn't he do that against venom's webbing? hodges coils? i don't think it's implausible....
second i don't think a guy who takes assaults from the hulk is going to be extremely disoriented by spiderman webbing him up. 😬
third, perhaps logan would eventually get webbing caked on him even if he was trying to cut his way free.. but that again isn't demonstrating a fight scenario...
the thing is, when spidey tried to cake webbing on TM, tm cut through it to the point that it was useless.. blade's done the same stunt. and against BP, bp closed the gap as he was shredding the webbing forcing a h2h encounter...
wolverine did pretty much the same thing in marvel knights.. what I mean is, sure spiderman can web logan up if logan is playing a game of how long he can evade the webbing... but that chance is dramatically reduced if and when wolverine goes to close the gap between the two forcing a h2h encounter...
kinda like captain america did.
Again those points I made were just a point I was trying to make about it all being speculation not saying Spider-man moved so fast Wolverine couldnt react, sorry if anyone got the wrong impression.
Now i don't agree that Wolverine would be able to close a gap with Spider-man when Spidey is constantly moving and firing webbing, after all Wolverine would have to be 1 moving faster than Spider-man and completely out manouver all the webbing to get to him, which i don't see happening, will it be easy for Spidey to web him up this way, no, is it possible, yes.

debating religion is INFINITELY WORSE than this.1) no one ever changes their opinion.
2) it gets very heated and personal
3) in the end, just leaves everyone frustrated
Yeah, but if you go out from the standpoint that you are NOT there to convince or convert somebody, if you go in with respect for other peoples' opinions and their belief systems... If you go out there and simply try to explain to people what you think about things and why you think so - you sometimes get very surprising and extremely gratifying responses.
The thing is to have as much respect for another opinion as you expect people to have for you own, and also to remember that that is just what it is -an OPINION.
Nobody is right, and nobody is wrong. And everybody is entitled to believe whatever the hell they want to believe - whether it makes sense to you or not.

good points. sometimes it's really hard to accept someone's beliefs though when you think it's completely ludicrous and silly, but you're right.
