wouldnt be songs if they are all piano. But if you want piano pieces then Eric Satie, very morbid stuff but even so, Grieg have some nice piano pieces, Beethoven . Just search for classical piano pieces and then try it out to see if you can download some of them, there are compilation albums with classical piano pieces, but some off the pieces are really tense.
umm...you just mean piano pieces?
on finti's grieg note...LOVE grieg's piano concerto. not slow sap, though....which personally i don't like all that much.
chopin's fantaisie impromptu has a beautiful slow bit in the middle...*thinks* (man, anything by chopin is gorgeous, really.)
i like listening to bach's goldberg variations as well. i've got a recording of glenn gould playing them---the man was an *amazing* pianist.
*thinks* whaaaaat else....well i'll try to think of some slow stuff. you should check out what i DID list, though---they're all very enjoyable. 😄

I like listening to modern classical music like the ones in Gladiator or Braveheart.
Film scores don't fit the definition of classical music. There is no such thing as "modern classical music," and the most recent pieces written under the genre were done during the classical periods final year which is 1825. Film scores borrowed a few things from the music of the romantic period(1825-1900) and twentieth century, but film pieces are too pop, cheesy, modern, to be worthy of comparison to Mozart or early Beethoven; plus they are only intended to entertain general film audiences. Actually, the time of ancient Greece and Rome is the real classical period, so even though Gladiator's score cannot be defined as classical music, it takes place during the real era. That is not to say Gladiator is historically accurate.
Yes, I love listening the most to strings and violin solo's. They say that you do better on tests if you study while listening to classical..... Just so you know... I also love Rachel Barton and her solo's Great stuff. Hey listen to the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack. It's got all the awesome chords and stuff in it ............
