He's not gonna play Willa Wonka from what I can tell, but Charlie. The movie is called "Charlie and the Chocolte Factory" so I'm asuming that this is like a sequel of sorts to the first one, which was Will Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. 🙂

Charlie is the name of the poor boy that wins a trip to the chocolate factory.
If I'm not mistaken the book is called Charlie and the chocolate factory but for some reason they named the other movie Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory 🤨

This is going to be the coolest movie. Who is playing Charlie?

I kinda want to see Willy Wonka played by Christopher Walken...

Willy Wonka has already been made a great movie, though it may have been old it still has already been made.............I'll still go see it though LOL

this movie will be cool cause tim burton is derecting it and i think all of his films are awesome. and to watch jonny depp play willy wonka that would be cool. dose any one want to see this movie like meself. 😈

yeh should be very interesting to see, tho it will be alot darker than the original, im looking forward to it.

Not sure we can call it a 'remake'. More of a reimagination really. He's making it true to the book, which will be very cool.

Oh man please not another remake while Jonny Depp may be a good actor he is no Gene Wilder, who will be very hard to beat as Willy Wonka.
With the exception of one or two remakes (i.e. most notably The File and The Thing) the rest have been pretty poor, Only time will tell.
