At last! I have been saying this for about a year, Walken could definitely pull off the character as good as Wilder, Jonny Depp will be excellent anyway and will bring something new to the roll. I for one can't wait.

I've had a scout around a couple of the search engines in regards to your request but unfortunately to no avail, best thing to do is try the official site or a reputable talent agency for further inquiries sorry i was unable to be more of a help.

oh that one picture you found of johhny as willy wonka wasnt a real one. that was from a site that said that they just wanted to see how it looked so they took johnny's face and put it on the poster. it looks amazing though!

I'd like to see Marilyn Manson or maybe even Owen Wilson playing him.

Ok, this thread is really for two different things... first of all, the upcoming Willy Wonka movie, starring Johnny Depp...does anyone know anything else about that? And, the next thing... WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE WILLY WONKA CHARACTER....yes im a dork, and a sucker for 70s movies.... 🙄 💃

I always liked Augustus Gloop, and it was always a let-down to see him taken out of the running so early on....

I HATED Charlie Bucket, and I didn't much care for the song his mother sang whilst stirring the laundry. Other than that, it's still one of my favorite flicks. Gene Wilder was and is the perfect choice for that role. I would rather see Jim Carrey play Wonka than Johnny Depp.

Actually, I can see Jim Carrey as Willy Wonka... 😆 That'd be pretty cool. He did a great job in The Grinch too. ✅

actully, i think depp would be a good wonka, very strange. And i do agree, i hate that song, it sucks..... but my favorite character is Veruca Salt, and i just wish she would have won

I dont like Veruca, too spoiled..and bratty..OMG LOOK AT THIS PICTURE, its Johnny as Willy Wonka..is it hot or is it hot? I cant wait to see this
