That was in 03 when the album was released, not in 04 when they smashed America.

Muse, by a large percentage, are and have always been supported by Kerrang. That was one reviewer.

NME had a general agreement of being anti-Radiohead, of course until it suited them.

The fact that NME try to hype up scrawny little indie offshoots is another reason I hate that mag now. Then they can say they created another little scene and name it 'Stoolrock' or 'The New New Wave of New, New Wave'.

Reminds me of Jo Whiley in Rock Profile. In fact, that is exactly what the NME has become, it's a pity really because it was a great mag.

Note the comment is my personal opinion on my personal dislike of the NME, would appreciate if any replies refer only to that assertion.

Listening to "Is This It", great album. Cannot wait for "First Impressions of Earth".

I think The Strokes are gonna have one of the best albums next year, I have a feeling.

I hope, their first album was awesome. It's cool that they tried something new with thier new single but i don't really like it that much. I'm confident the album won't disappoint though.

I saw the Strokes in concert a couple or few years ago. GREAT show. I danced with all the songs, they never got old, the band did a 9/10 performance! I say that because they took so long to finally start playing, and Julian stopped singing in the middle of a song just to tell some girl she had nice t*ts. My goodness! lol 🙂
