When Rick touches the ocean hes not allowed to be in the ocean or else Nimbus will appear. Nimbus is Rick's nemesis. He controls the police. Nimbus can only be pleased with a special wine, that is kept in a parallel planet, who's time signature is different than earth's. Morty has to go fetch it and when he goes and retrieves it, he brings back a man who has a wife that is pregnant. He's only gone for one second when he comes back to find his wife dead and his son scorn from his dads abandonment. His son stabs his father and he learns why he left and waits for Rick to return for more wine.
I like how Rick is basically the Bill Nye the Science Guy version of One Punch Man.
Invents anything, has defense against any threat, knows everything about everything...
Everyone else is just Morty, along for the ride and hope you don't die.
And some of us are Jerry, don't know what the fvck is going on but making the best of it.
