Give it to episode 6, it gets better. But it lacks imagination. Quantum Leap could have been updated in many ways because it was set in the future. It has turned into NCIS or Hawaii 5.0. There is nothing new that they added and that's why it is boring. This looks like it could have been produced in the 90's.
I used to wonder how anyone could fall for marketing techniques. Now I wonder that no one's tried to market the joys of euthanasia to bring down the surplus population, or try and sell a "remove your opposable thumb" challenge.
