Yes that's exactly what happened. I made dinner (in my kitchen, in my place), they arrived and we ate and then my cousin and her gf went down to the hot tub and left me alone with this strange little man. I was not amused.

I am not particularly close to my cousins. I find most of them annoying, conceded and arrogant. They always try to beat each other at life by outdoing one another.

And the newer generation of relatives I can not relate to them. I do not know them and I find them strange.

My grandmother was the matriarch of my family. She brought everyone together. We would have family events, reunions, picnics, parties, social events and birthdays. When she died, everyone scattered and then my uncles/aunts started dying.

A lot of my cousins are to full of themselves or recluse that they do not want to connect with anyone. They hide in their cave and pretend we dont exist.
