Theoretically yes, all kinds of them, now to apply that to a spaceship is an entirely different animal altogether, if you have great speed then you need to figure out how to keep the astronauts inside from turning into jelly from the velocity. Need to figure out how to keep space debris from punching a hole in your hull and making everyone dead. Supplying said astronauts with food/water/air without using a lot of weight/area, etc. This shit is so far in the future it isn't even funny.

A. UK is a small set of islands so 3 or 4 nuclear power plants should provide all the energy they need.

B. Icelandic people may not be amenable to siphoning their geothermal vents, they may revert to the old Viking ways and be very grumpy.

C. Transporting batteries storing the electricity from the geothermal vents would be a pain to ship back and forth and expensive as well. Stick with nuclear.
