Well at the very least he's in the right place to get that figured out. Many a time I have spent hours on end in the ER and they were all super boring.
So he has to stay overnight for observation till Wednesday. They believe he had a stroke but not sure. Also his shoulder is killing him so they might do a surgery. He can't walk properly. He's practically dragging one side
Stroke is major and may lead to a series of TIAs which could make it worse, let's hope that doesn't happen but it did in my Grandma who was much older (83) they were like aftershocks that continued up until her passing. My dad had a stroke last summer and no one bothered to tell me until this fall, and now I can tell every little sign that he isn't himself.
Well I am on the hunt for fresh Lions Mane and Cauliflower Mushrooms. There's an interesting article on Cauliflower Mushrooms and stroke patients. Unfortunately Cauliflower Mushrooms are out of season--I am sure you can find someone selling a dry version in some asain market.
I will be going this evening to the farmers market to pick up fresh Lions Mane for my dad. I'm also looking for fermented sauerkraut, chia seeds, blue berries and a few other curative treatments.
YouTube it. Lions Mane for example is known for brain health and nerve repair. Chia seeds are known for nerve repair. Natural gelatin is known for collagen repair in the bones, also known as Jello. There's a brand called, Knox gelatin that is sold in most grocery stores, unflavored, no chemicals or additives. Blue berries promote nerve healing.
