Yeah the Sillmarillion is great and holds the answers to all the questions that have been asked in this forum.

Definately, the Silmarillion talks about all the events that involved Elves since they're the oldest and wisest beings in Arda. 😉

Sigh... but, as I continuously point out, it can be a little dodgy as a reference source due to its unfinished nature.

The answer to my question seems mostly to be no, so closing.
