Airwing takes out an arrow and prepares to shoot, aiming carefully at a place the shield doesn't cover and holds waiting for it to get a little closer

Andromir takes cover behind the battlements, looking for a weak spot in the orc formations, anything that could be exploited to hamper the orc attack

It covers anything you might normally aim at, though you could try and pick out the legs. It is simply using the 'shield against melee weapon' part of the main rules. If you roll well enough you will hit.

Shoot upwards!
If you can launch the arrow up then they will lance down behind the shield.
Dexx, I call my ability to project light my Flashlight of Doom or flashlight for short.

(Baranar wouldn't happen to have any balistas or catapults lying around would he ? 😈 )

Darvan waits, tapping his sword against the stones of the battlements.

(Hvaent you guys any rocks and oil to throw over the orc formation?)

Corlindel loads his short bow and shot at the nearest dunleending (Is there any dunl. at my short bow range?)

Well I don't think that the orcs are in a place to have stuff dropped on them.

(But they will be closer enough to do it)

rusky is right...do we have any mass killing tools ? we could throw some hay on them or in front of them and light it up...or make some wooden fireballs like in Troy 😄
catapults would be good also 😄

Well now, if you guys wanted to use that sort of thing, perhaps you should have thought about it during your month of planning? Baranar has some tricks but you guys, having decided to be independant, have none.

Very well, the Orc formation will soon close on the walls, still marching in at a steady pace.

Still no movement from the other three sides.

they are curently attacking only from front...not all 4 sides of the castle..

bb...b.b....but..ush..i asked about catapults some time ago. You said they're not available. Baranar doesn't hold such defensive machines in his fortress.

Catapults and ballistae, no. But people are talking about oil and rocks and fire and stuff like that...

yes..i remember someone mentioning pouing boiling oil on em..and rocks and stuff.

(I thought that was part of the plan)
