And has anyone said to prepare or put it anywhere? Where or how or with what to pour it? Who is in charge of it? Is anyone aware it is their responsibility? I get the feeling everyone thinks someone else took care of it.
I told you, I will only do what you tell me and nothing else. Since the alarm has sounded, all anyone has done is run to certain positions and take potshots.
It is part of the plan to 'win the battle' but simply saying it doesn't make it so!
Boiling oil has to be boiled- you cannot keep it at a scalding state 24 hours a day. It needs containers, and you need to work out where to pour it from because most of a castle's ramparts are dreadfully unsuited for the task. And it needs people in charge.
I'm sorry, folks, but none of these preperations have occurred. And I have been told that your plan only involved positioning, so... there you go.
Ten paces from the castle, the rear rank of Orcs stops moving, and swing forwards bows, which they quickly notch with arrows, aiming upwards...
Oops,
he he, kinda forgot about that little detail (Hides from people yelling at him)
Like I said if your gonna shoot, shoot upwards so the arrows fall behind the shield.
Now wait for the Orcs to fire then return fire. This applies to everyone in range of the Orcs, and yes I know that Dexx has allready shot his arrow.
Try and aim for the archers. because if we knock them out then we can be free to shoot at the regular troops.
and how are you telling us this as you are far far away from some of us?😄
anyhow...Palanfirith goes down in the fortress and groups up some peasents. He orders them to make small sacks of strows, very well tied up.He think these might be useful for : light them up and using arrows or just throwing so we can burn enemy siege things and also we can throw them at the base of the archers to make a smoke barricade and to blind them,so the infantery to be uncovered.
