Ok! Three dead Dunlendings on the ascent this time.

The Dunlendings perform better this time. Two of Baranar's men are killed, with one dead Dunlending in return. Andromir drops his target also, but there is little further progress. Another one of the guards preventing the rise is killed by a solid axe throw...

... and another four Dunlendings rise.

However, the new ones are not committing to the fight. They are moving to remove those who are killing them on the ascent...

Nice to see Andromir is keeping abreast of developments... your first move is to protect the archers, then, which puts you into combat with one of the new Dunlendings immediately.

First things first. Four more are killed on the way up.

Then, one each attacks each of Baranar's guards. One is hacked down in a single blow.

One goes for Andromir, as he moves to protect the archers. He rolls 25; Andromir easily avoids the clumsy blow.

Three others are clear to move. One pushes past Andromir to go for the archers. One goes for the defenders. One goes for Vardalain, who really SHOULD have paid attention...

Now the fight back. Baranar's men drop two more. Argentis misses, but a flanking Corlindel hacks down one of the wounded Dunlendings. Darvan scores a solid enough hot to kill the other wounded one. IU am afraid Andromir manages no efficient counter blow either.

And another four rise! They are going to keep splitting their efforts between the melee and the defenders.
