It simply skitters along the armour, Talin. The being is slowly forcing you down to the ground with great strength...
Anglomir, you cannot do anything. You are paralyzed with cold and fear and a numbing madness in your mind...
The men of Carn Dum... came during the night... destroyed all in their wake...
Carn Dum... you do not know it... you are sure you have heard it meniotned before though.
But the being is not talking to you. These thoughts are in your head!
Took it all... destroyed it all... and even that was not enough for them...
"Now you die..." says the quiet, cold voice. The life is slowly draininfg from you, Anglomir. You feel very sleepy.
Talin, you stagger back. It's good armour, for sure! The being swings its sword at you.
I see Anglomir and the creature upon him and I fire one arrow in the eye(head).I was pretty close as I last moved.Palanfirith is searching the being for a "thing" to shoot at(if he has on him something that is different from the rest of the equipment,a talisman,a flashy thing, something that is giving him power)
Aiwendil groped for her saddlebags, reaching for oil-soaked rags, her bow and arrows and her tinder-box. Ignoring the pain, she wrapped the rags around the arrow head, fumbling fingers struggling to create a spark. She didn't know if this would hurt these creatures, but it should at least catch their attention...
Ok, you are scrambling through your stuff to improvise some form of weapon.
Palanfirith, I am afraid not- since the fog came in you haven;t a hope of getting a clear shot. None of you know where each other is- unless one of you guys cries out.
Odd you should mention, that, Vardalain, because at this point you can hear Gorlim's voice calling "No men! Do not flee! Stay with me and bear arms! Stay!"
Vardalain- you now have rope.
Argentis. you cannot see a damned thing!
Talin, the swipe missed you, and you swing for its legs. Npw, at last, with a full sweing, your axe pierces the side of the armour- but it does not seem impressed as you yank your axe out.
No blood.
