USH'S LOTR RP Game part 2- The Fortress of Baranar

Aniica sent an arrow at the creature's head. It bounced of and hit the ground. She sent another one at it's neck. It went through the armor. The animal ripped it out and got even more angry. "Oops?"

(Don't say stuff like that, arrows will probably do SOMETHING at least. I would have put "Aniica sent an arrow at it's head".)

"Talin, I didn't mean to get it angrier" Anii said. Talin blocked a sword thrust. Aniica put an other arrow in it's neck. She pulled out her elvish dagger.
~Dagger, find your target, straight and true.~

*seeing as I can't find my horse* I take out my sword and start making my way to Talin

(tiger...you can say what you TRY to do....the gm decides what happens and how it worked out)
VArdalain quickly grabs his bow and studies his targets for a mokent before shooting. He already knows it probably won't have any effect. (i assume they have helms as well)
"we have to take them somehow else" he says.

I have to correct you again there, Aniica. Your arrow shot thuds into the armoured chest- the figure ignores it.

The men in the camp are breaking and running.

Talin, you do realise you are unarmoured?

Talin and Aniica, do you (or anyone else for that matter) intend to engage?

(hmm without armour and my horse, and only one weapon I doubt it, tho I will support any melee attacks made)

(Oh ****...)

"I'll be right back Aniica..."

Talin runs to his tent, which is luckily on the edge of camp, since he wanted to get away from the men who didn't really care for him anyway. He starts putting on as much of his armor as he can.

Vardalain decides that whatever armor he can strap on (if he wasn't in it anyway) can do no noticeable difference. He looks around for anything that can be used as a more...hard weapon.

(now...are they wearing any helms?)

(ooc: can't do any thing right, can I?)

ic:
~Awww! Bloody Hell!~
Anii notices as Talin runs to get his armour. Anii grabs her last arrow and leaps out of the way, as the sword came down. She rolled on the ground and fell into a shallow hole.

Her limbs unsupporting and her head heavy, Aiwendil dragged herself upright using her staff as a boost. Her entire body throbbing, she reverted from Common to Elvish.

"Sina naa n'quel. Sina naa sai n'quel..."

((This is bad. This is very bad))

(Um...Tiger? You might need a little help with this thing. For one, this is not an interactive story. There are no shallow holes in the ground that we know of, and you'd probably be killed if you did because the things would come to you and kill you. Things go by our actions and Ush confirms what our actions did.)

Talin- it will take you minutes to put on metal armour. Everyone might be dead by then.

There COULD be a shallow hole, I don't mind people making up little things (you can hide behind a tree I did not specify was there so long as you are not, for example, indoors; common sense stuff like that)

Vardalain, they are very definitely wearing helmets, with full face visors covering them.

Aiwendil, when you look upon these figures in the flashes of lightning you know at once you are directly seeing what has been troubling you- at least in part. You sense a blackness about them, a blackness that directly contrasts to the Elven light that gently radiates from you and your fellows.

Panicked men continue to flee form the camp. One of the assailants moves to pull Aniica from her hole and try and slay her. The other two advance into the centre of the camp to engage anything they see.

Phoe is right, this is VERY bad...

(Oh shit...)

Oh shit indeed, sir. Luckily, like all good Dwarves, your weapon was by your side as you slept and you had that to hand at once.

"Aniica, rise!" Anglomir hollers, drawing his sword and shield. He gives a mighty war cry and charges at the creature going to the Elf, aiming to bash it back with his shield.

William loads two arrows onto the bow and lets them fly at the nearest armored creature. He then begins letting a quick volley of them fly into the creature.

Your arrows fly true, William.

tung! they go as they tbud into the nearest one. It does not seem impressed. You feel like you are trying to kill a tree with arrows for all the good it did.

And now, fog. Fog that was not there a moment ago, but the next blasting of lightning and thunder reveals not your enemy but a rolling bank of fog that has come from nowhere. Now you are almost completely blind. Willian, you cannot see a damn thing to shoot at.

Anglormir, you are closer and can just about make out your target. You charge down into him. There is another resounding clang as your shield hits his armour- and you bounce back and fall to the floor. You feel like you just ran into a stone wall, and are dazed.

The being above you shrieks again, and you can suddenly hear voices and sounds in your head, sounds of battle, battle far from here...

And the figure reaches down and places an armoured hand upon your chest, and you gasp in sudden pain... it... is... cold...

Talin rushes blindly through the fog and swings his axe with both hands at the gut of the creature that William had been shooting at.

The being meets your axe with its sword, Talin. Another loud clang rings out as it meets your swing exactly. And now you are alone save your foe, lost and isolated in the pitch black fog, in the rain..
