Thanks for the support PM. Cyclops is supposed to be 6'4", while Wolvie is 5'8". But, onscreen Jackman is clearly taller than Marsden.
I realize this thread is supposed to be about Gambit, but a couple of points need to be made.
I agree with you G-iN-Da-F, Paquin was the wrong choice for Rogue to start with...way too young and way too short. They didn't even TRY to fix it. For that matter I wasn't too thrilled with their choice for Jean Grey either. Jensen is a beautiful woman, but she don't have Jean's sex appeal.
While Pitt would be fine choice for Wolvie, he is way too short for Gambit. He is somewhere b/w 5'8"-5'10". (Can anybody give me an exact height please?) Remember G is 6'2"@180#. Equipment fixes have limits. Furthermore, Pitt is buff&bulked. Remy, while cut and strong, is tall and thin. I have a brother that matches Remy's stats and he is thin, almost gaunt-like. You can pad-up a stick to look bulked, but it's almost impossible to hide muscle to look thin.
I didn't get the impression that R had gotten over W by X-2. But, hey I've been wrong about crushes before. While it is true that in the comics R&G had a romance, Icey was never even a contender, nor did she have a thing for W(unless my memory is failing-someone please correct me if I am wrong). The writers for the movies have already strayed far from the comics. Unless they want to completely destroy R's concept, she must remain with Bobby. Remember, Rogue cannot touch another human being, and that is the one thing she craves most. At least with Drake, BRIEF kisses are possible. That ain't gonna happen with the Master Cajun. Wolvie has proven he can suvive her touch, but even he passed out.
