english is kick ass...........so is arabic............i currently live in baghdad.

Baghdad wow cool... y arabic?

I think English is quite okeh but I h8 german

Wow that is really strange, now that i think about it Elrond is Aragorns father and his great great great great great....etc....great uncle, haha, that's really weird....

"Elrond is Aragorns father" ??? Maybe future father-in-law but not his father. Elrond's brother Elros is Aragorn's line.

lol, i would love to learn elvish, but i've been taking espanol for like 5 years and i swear i don't know it at all! I really wish that I could learn foreign languages a lot easier, because i stink! 😠 lol

yeah yeah, that's what i meant, sorry like i have a brother in law, i just call him my brother

in the book he does marry arwen and so yeah he IS his father in law..

galadriel is arwen's grandmother 😎 💃 📖

sike i dont live in baghdad.....and english cuz im an american badass

Um...some of you guys are quite off, Galadriel is actually Arwen's GREAT Grandmother due to the Silmarillion. It said something about how the elven blood runs.

wow I read in a interview with Liv Tyler and she says that Galadriel is her mother 😑 weird

Really?!? Oh my god... where did you read that?

In this movie mag here in Canada called famous.

Hmmm... I'd think that if she spent 15 months on the set of lotr she'd know what her characters relatives are... 😑

ok i feal weird coming into theis conversation so late, but anyways,
just to tell you dont feal bad if i SCREAM or YELL at you because i hold LOTR close to my heart...very close...people call me obsessed. i wish i had a scanner so i could scan down the lineage pages from the silm. just another thing in the books aragorn is in his late 60's to early 70's accoring to the official time line, they changed it in the movies.

shoot i cant find my silm. i knew i should have gotten another copy, i always cant find my books, so i bought several copies of each

oh yes hypernova, why did you have to take my name? i always use that name, oh well first come first served. it is a cool name though, btw do you know what a hypernova is?

the movie is a little bit different from the books, and books have complete power over movies, and that goes for all series of any sort

Actually, Aragorn has elven descent in him, through the Numernor kings and from Elros, brother of Elrond. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he's the 39th king of that line. He still has the blood in him, so he ages slower than other mortals. He has some elven powers in him, including healing people. So really, there was no problem. 🙂

i never said he didnt have elven in him, hes a duneidane they live much longer then humans. and like somone else said he lives around 230 years, but by the offiacial timeline hes around 67 at the begining of the story and about 68 at the end of the trilogy

Nope, they got it right in the movies, Aragorn was 87 years old during the WAR OF THE RING, 😄 which took place in the year 3018 if I'm not mistaken...he was born in the year 2931 of the 3rd age... so, that makes him 87. In the Extended Edition he tells Eowyn he's 87, he lived 210 years.

Ok, ai read somewhere that Galadriel is Elrond's great aunt and mother-in-law. I guess that makes her Arwen's great-great-aunt, I think. :/
