Because its not about the ship happining, its about the quality of the ship.Say your a H/HR shipper, and Hermione ends up with Ron....are you ganna stop shipping? Most likely not.Me?I think that H/HR and R/HR are the two most bland and boring couples you couls imagine,so why would I ship them?Just because they'll most likely happen?
Don't be so narrow minded.

I understand what you mean Imaginary! Although, I don't register with H/D at all (no offense). On other terms, has any one else noticed something about the ending of the books? I noticed something:
In each book there is a "Last Battle" i.e. going into the chamber of secrets, battle with the resurrected Voldemort, etc.
In the first book, Harry goes into the final adventure with: Ron & Hermione
Second book: Ron
Third book: Hermione
Fourth book: Harry is all alone
Fifth book: Ron & Hermione
Anyone see the pattern? If there is indeed a pattern, the last two books should end like this:
Sixth book: Ron
Seventh book: Hermione
So in the last book, Harry should be with Hermione during the last battle. This might mean that they will end up "together". This isn't exactly proof, just a theory, as are most of my arguments, but you also have to remember, J.K. Rowling never gives any solid proof about anything. She'll drop clues along the way, but never any solid proof. I've heard lots of R/Hr shippers over here in Japan who tell me that is no proof of H/Hr in the books and the Ron/Hermione is SOO obvious. But that's the point, there is no part of any of the books where. J.K. Rowling gives any proof of H/Hr, only hints and clues.

or it might mean that ron dies before then? 🥷 but i wouldn't count on that pattern since a few other characters have become a lot more important (e.g. neville, luna, ginny,...)
