Here are some more quotes:
However, [Harry]'s only 14, so there's plenty of time for him to change his mind [about Hermione or Ginny].
You notice in this quote she does NOT mention a new character!
Poor Ginny, languishing in love for Harry, and he's merrily asking out other girls right under her nose! But that's just a boy thing.
This quote proves that Ginny doesn't have a crush on Harry. For she says, languishing in love for Harry, not something like, Poor Ginny, crushing on Harry, and he's merrily asking out other girls right under her nose! But that's just a boy thing. But no, she uses languishing in love! 😄
[Will Harry ever notice the long-suffering Ginny Weasley?] You'll see... poor Ginny, eh?
I LOVE this quote because she is hinting that Ginny Weasley isn't some poor, suffering, crushing, and blushing fan girl, but someone who is really quite different and will deserve Harry in the end!!! 😛
The Diary to me is a very scary object. It's a really, really frightening object. This manipulative little book with the temptation particularly for a young girl to pour out her heart to a diary, which is never something I was prone to, but my sister was. The power of something that, at the time I wrote that I hadn't been in an Internet chat room. But I've since thought "Well it's very similar". Just typing your deepest thoughts and getting answers back, you don't know who's answering you! And so that was always a very scary image to me, in the book, and I thought it worked well in the film.
I also LOVE this quote because it shows that JK even found the diary to be quite frightening and it tells that Ginny really is strong! 🙂
At eleven, a thin young woman with long flame-red hair bursts through the door, distraught and dishevelled. "I'm so sorry. I'm just really really sorry," she keeps saying, shaking like a leaf and looking as though she might cry. With a strong coffee in one hand and a cigarette in the other, she slowly calms down but cannot stop apologising. "It did cross my mind in the taxi that some Floo powder would have been hugely handy," she says, half-laughing through her agitation.
A long and complicated explanation tumbles out: the hotel refused to let her check out, having lost her name in the computer, and then, having found her name, insisted that her prepaid bill had not been settled. "I was halfway here in the taxi and I was so upset by being so late for you, and then I realised I didn't have my purse. So I just burst into tears."
Don't really know what to make of this quote. Though it kinda reminds me of Ginny. . .in a way. . . 😉
Associated Press, March 27, 2000:"Last time you met him, he was 13," Rowling said at a news conference at the British Library.
"He's 14 now and he's started to realize girls are quite interesting," she said. "I tend to think that if someone is sufficiently engaged in one of the books, he's not going to be too disappointed if, at some point, his hero holds hands with a little girl."
This one is a real eye opener because of the last part of the quote. The part that is the eye opener is this part,he's not going to be too disappointed if, at some point, his hero holds hand with a little girl, and as we all know Ginny is always said to be little! 🙂
Finally the last quote:
What was the original working title of Chamber of Secrets?
Harry Potter and the Half Loved Prince. I quite liked that title, unfortunately the story bore no relation whatsoever to the title by the time I'd finished.
This one is kinda for fun, but think about it, everyone always says that Harry/Ginny is too much like a fairytale, well it seems that JK here likes fairytales, and what is with the title. . .Harry Potter and the Half Loved Prince? 😉 😂 💃
That's it folks, sorry about the long post. . . 😮
I think Harry might fancy her...but Luna likes Ron and if she did get over that there is a SMALL chance that harry and luna may become a couple..but i do not think that it will become anything serious. I think she will MOST LIKELY just be a crush to him...... he may fall for her...LIKE CHO...another phase...but nothing serious. Ginny's been playing SMALL parts in the books....she hasn't been up in the group until hte end of book 5...BUT she will be able to go to Hogsmead next year..so I think that by the end of the book her and Harry's relationship will be more developed.... b/c they will be able to talk outside of school...since they aren't in the same year...........
and about Luna....why didn't she join the school before??? was she a 1st year? and if so.......THEN Harry wouldn't want to be with her...she'd be too young for him...... AND why wasn't she in school before? Was she at a different school........ ??? I was sure that she was around the same age as Harry though.......??
luna's in ginnys year... the year below harry... so i dont know where shes been before now. maybe she was just never mentioned before.
i dont think harry and luna have a chance... unless one of them changes dramatically in the next book, they dont seem to suit each other.
NEVILLE AND LUNA ALL THE WAY!!!
