ladygrim, you are wrong firstly by spelling wrong as 'rong'. Secondly, you all seem eager to say that you think you are right, but I can't say that I think you are wrong? Personally, I do think that you are wrong. Just because I didn't dress it up with superfluous langauge, and got straight down to the point, doesn't make it any less polite, or any less valid. I believe my previous assertions are correct concerning the future relationships of the trio, and have yet to receive any plausible evidence to the contrary, bar a few smidgens of debatable yet upstanding evidence. I don't quite understand why you are annoyed? Have I offended someone?

But just because you think you right, doesn't mean you are. So unless you are JKR this thread is all opinion and its rather rude and stupid to say somebody is wrong
the debate is heating up 😮💨
Magical dream theory
to liven things up
Quote from OOTP (The Eye of the Snake): "Harry dreamed he was back in the DA room. Cho was accusing him of luring her there under false pretences; she said he had promised her a hundred and fifty Chocolate Frog Cards if she showed up. Harry protested . . . Cho shouted, 'Cedric gave me loads of Chocolate Frog Cards, look!' And she pulled out fistfuls of Cards from inside her robes and threw them into the air.
Then she turned into Hermione, who said, 'You did promise her, you know, Harry . . . I think you'd better give her something else instead . . . how about your Firebolt?' And Harry was protesting that he could not give Cho his Firebolt, because Umbridge had it, and anyway the whole thing was ridiculous, he'd only come to the DA room to put up some Christmas baubles shaped like Dobby's head . . ."
Observation: Cho and Hermione both appeared in Harry's ridiculous dream. Ridiculous as it is, I believe there's a sort of sign. Note that Cho turned into Hermione. I believe this is a sign of a future transition from Cho to Hermione. It is also a transition from childish puppy love to a more mature love. Note that in the dream, Cho was pretty childish, screaming about Harry's promise of Chocolate Frog Cards and then she turned into a mature Hermione, who calmly suggested he (Harry) give her(Cho) his Firebolt.
Quote from OOTP (The Second War Begins): "Harry looked around. Cho was passing, accompanied by Marietta Edgecombe, who was wearing a balaclava. His and Cho's eyes met for a moment. Cho blushed and kept walking. Harry looked back down at the chessboard just in time to see one of his pawns chased off its square by Ron's knight.
'What's - er - going on with you and her, anyway?' Ron asked quietly.
'Nothing,' said Harry truthfully.
'I - er - heard she's going out with someone else now,' said Hermione tentatively.
Harry was surprised to find that this information did not hurt at all. Wanting to impress Cho seemed to belong to a past that was no longer quite connected with him; so much of what he had wanted before Sirius's death felt that way these days . . . the week that had elapsed since he had last seen Sirius seemed to have lasted much, much longer; it stretched across two universes, the one with Sirius in it, and the one without.
'You're well out of it, mate,' said Ron forcefully. 'I mean, she's quite good-looking and all that, but you want someone a bit more cheerful.'
'She's probably cheerful enough with someone else,' said Harry, shrugging."
Observation: So there! Harry's no longer interested with Cho which is probably (and hopefully) the start of my theory on the transition from Cho to Hermione.

Actually, my opinion is implied in my previous statements - I have said 'I think', I believe' e.t.c. before the said post, and believed that I didn't really need to waste time, effort and space continually repeating the aforementioned personal phrases. In fact, I would have thought the other posters to be of considerably higher intelligence than to take what I said as an exclamation of fact - no way in the world would I know if my opnions are indeed correct, unless, as you said, I am JKR. And I am most definintely not.
But saying somebody is wrong is an exlamation of fact in a way. And thats how it is taken when reading a bored. I know now you didn't mean it that way, but thats how some people (including me) took your post when they first read it. When you first said you were wrong you said "I think your wrong. . ." but saying "your wrong" just comes off rude. So yeah. . . Back to the subject at hand
I do think that Ron and Hermione will get together at some point. For how long . . . i'm not sure. A week or forever? I have no idea. My personal opinion is that they will go out for a while, but will break up after maybe a year, but still be friends. Now I want Harry and Hermione to get together (just because i'm a sucker for the hero getting the girl (and Harry and Ginny barely ever talk)) but i'm not sure if it will ever happen
Remus and Lilly - ship or not?
I read a thread about how Remus Lupin was (or still is) in love with Lily Evans. This mostly sprouted from the scene in POA (movie) when he tells Harry about Lily on the bridge. Now, consider the following:
He mentions her eyes. It's possible that this is a hint, because you notice your lover's eyes a lot more than your friend's eyes, am I right? However, so many people relate Harry's eyes to his mother's that it is safe to say that Lupin is only another one to notice them.
Also, people said that J.K. was going to create a stunning twist to her plot, and people were wondering if this would be it. I don't think it'll even be close, because Jo's not the kind of person to waste her exciting and never-expected plot twist to be based on a broken romance that probably (if it ever existed) would be one-sided, anyway.
All guys seemed to favour Lily, because she was pretty, social, smart, kind, and Remus might have just been another one of the many men who liked her at one point or another, and was attracted to her kindness.
And, I must say that if there was anything there, it was only in the wishes of Remus, and in reality their relationship was purely platonic.
Alright, anyone else have any further comments?
Ginny and Harry - all points to a couple
We all want Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley to get together, am I right? Well, this is one I have to say I want to happen. And may I just say that anyone on HPANA or Mugglenet.com all know about "the Furtive Look". May I just say that it dowsn't mean anything. That was only because Ron wants a good guy for his little sister. And, not only is Harry a good guy, but Ginny thinks he's the moon and stars.
The only reason this wouldn't work out is that we don't know how Harry feels, which at the moment is not very emotional. He treats her more like a little sister. But, the more she hangs out with them, the more he gets to know her, which could cause a developing friendship and therefore relationship.
If you read page 54 in GOF, you get the impression that Ginny is getting more comfortable around Harry, which could result over time in a good friendship, and hopefully develope into a strong boyfriend-girlfriend relationship.
Also, it has been scientifically proven that the person someone is in love with for the second time is the person who is most like his mother. Honestly, Ginny's the only one who can handle him.
Astrologically, they're both Leo's.

anything anyone else would like to add?
They started the thread!!
Whatever. I don't care anymore.
Ginny and Harry
Ron and Hermione
I believe in these with every romantic bone in my body.
Read my thread, "Ginny and Harry - all points to a couple". its got a heart by it.
I haven't got one for Ron and Hermione yet, I need more info first.
I'm now going to go back to highlighting every R/Hr clue in my GOF book. 🙂
In CoS, when Harry goes to the Weasleys for the first time, we see a very shy Ginny, and then Ron tells Harry he doesn't know what happend with her since she usually talks a lot. Of course, at this point we, the readers, are watching everything through Harry's eyes, so it just happens than when he sees Ginny, she's always quiet. But we have been given the information through Ron that she usually is not that quiet.
In OotP, we the readers see a different Ginny. From when Harry comes to Grimmauld Place, we see a Ginny that even greets Harry. Now for the readers it is like "hey, is she talking in front of Harry? what happened?", but Harry doesn't even realize this. It is one of those times when the readers see something through Harry, but only us, and not him, registers on it. Later in the book, it is Hermione who explains that Ginny's crush on Harry is over, and that's when he realizes why she was talking to him.
So what is the purpose of that? for Jo to have the readers taking note of Ginny's usual self, and also IMO, because she needs to feel the hole that Gred and Feorge are going to leave (unless she makes them repeat the 7th year). Remember when Jo said that Ginny would have a more prominent role in OotP? Most H/G shippers assume that it meant that Ginny and Harry would hook up, but it wasn't that what Jo had meant. Ginny had indeed a bigger role, getting over her crush so that the readers could see through Harry her usual behavor. She also had a bigger role since she went to the adventure of the DoM, but then again so did Luna and Neville; just that nobody asked if Neville was going to have a bigger role in OotP because nobody knew at the time of how close Neville was to become the marked one by Voldemort.
Hermione is too important for Harry to be replace by other girl. As Jo has said, Harry needs her badly ( don't you love that phrase??)
