Wow! KKdave's stubborn! As a matter of fact, I'm starting to think a lot of you H/Hr shippers are being a little stubborn. all the clues you gave us only prove that Harry and Hermione are only friends. every time you see the quotes us R/Hr shippers show, you just try to prove us wrong and show us quotes that show us that Harry and Hermione are only friends. All I'm seeing are Ron and Hermione clues in those interviews. Every time they mention a Harry and Hermione relationship, she acts like the person who says it is insane. every time they mention Ron and Hermione, she gives off small hints.

And Harry's looking up from his writing and seems to be staring at Ron. And Hermione's definitely looking at ron.

OK, so you say that we're being stubborn, but it's going the same way with you: we're not accepting your evidence and you're not accepting ours. We both obviously say it only shows friendship, but from my personal point of view it seams like Harry and Hermione would have a much more solid relationship, more of a lasting one, where as Ron and Hermione would end up being just a fling. I think this because of many things, such as book evidence that I have already posted, but i think it has a lot to do with maturity levels. Harry and Hermione are on the same level, and it is clear that they trust and respect each other. It's also clear that Ron handles tough situations immaturely.
In a relationship I believe Harry and Hermione would be able to build each other up and help one another, where as I feel Ron would simply drag Hermione down with his immaturity. I don't think she would stand for that.

I've said the same thing about Hermione and Ron myself. If they DO get together, I don't see it lasting. Nothing more than an over night romance if you ask me. I agree with KK, it seems to me that Hermione and Harry will have a much more solid relationship vs. R/Hr.

Ron is too hot tempered and gets upset too easily for me. With Hermione's witts, I dont think he'd be able to keep up.

You're forgetting one thing. A relationship doesn't have to be good to last. Ron and Hermione's relationship is more like a real relationship. It might not look like it would last, but the thing is it probably has a better chance of lasting than Harry and Hermione's, even though it might not seem it. And if Ron were going out with Hermione, he would probably mature into a better person. plus the reason he acts immature is because he wants to hide his feelings for her. If he starts going out with her, he'll have nothing to hide, so he really wouldn't have the need to be immature to her.

she was talking about the fourth book, so she could very well mean the other crushes that the characters KNOW they have a crush. Harry KNEW he had a crush on cho. JK Rowling once said in an interview that there is something going between Ron and Hermione, but Ron doesn't KNOW it yet. they were very well speaking of who he knew he had a crush on, and trust me, he had a crush on the wrong person. Same with Hermione, she went to the Yule Ball with Viktor Krum, and she probably has a crush on the guy since every time she brings him up in a conversation, she starts to blush. Those could very well be the meaning of wrong people.

Hmm, I got a warning for expressing my opinion and spelling correctly. Perhaps I should refrain for a while and let RGL do all the fighting.

This is a very interesting quote! Good find! But if you also think about it, yeah Harry liked Cho, Hermione liked Krum (we think) and Ron was obsessed with Flur for a while. So those could be the wrong people JKR is talking about. However, I'm hoping that she's talking about ron liking Hermione, since his liking her was much more significant to the book then ron liking Flur.r=

Well... I guess not, but it's obvious that he's got something for her, even if he doesnt know it. I guess you could say he's "fallen for her". I dont think he's madly in love, but I think it's a crush. He's got to have some understanding that he's got a crush on hermione.

Well Harry's far from "madly in love" with her, as well. Ron's probably a lot closer to that meaning. Harry also doesn't seem to be "falling for her". But Ron seems to have that going on. Harry doesn't seem to have even a crush on Hermione. Ron does. And Ron seemed to be growing a crush on her throughout the other stories, you just really don't notice them 'til after you read the whole jealousy thing in book 4. But JK still probably meant Harry/Cho, Hermione/Viktor, and Ron/Fleur were the wrong people.

Your not gonna gaurantee yourself the opportunity to hook up with the girl you have a crush on if your gonna talk trash about her and make her look bad in front of everyone else. Even worse, she's gonna hate you for it and hook up with someone else which would suck for Ron if it happened.

Uh, Ron doesn't talk trash about hermione. He teases her. and she, at times, teases him as well. people tease one another when they like eachother.

And now you're comparing it to Muhammad Ali. If you didn't notice, that happened in real life, not in some made up fantasy.

Well Harry hasn't gotten jealous over Hermione in any of the books. If he went out with her, Ron would get jealous. But if Ron went out with hermione, then there probably won't be any jealousy. and two of them going out with eachother doesn't really make them no longer a trio. They'd still be a trio, but two of the people are going to be going on some dates every once and a while.
