On top of all that, he has been through death-defying situations since he first came to Hogwarts which would make anyone go mentally unstable. Girls usually are attracted to guys that are mentally unstable and Hermoine is always been by Harry's side when he has problems while she's always having shouting contests with Ron.
Ron and Hermoine have been bitching and arguing for 6 books now that it's difficult for me to believe that they would ever want to hook up. I will wait till Book 7 to come out before I decide that JK Rowling has made her point clear but until then, there's still a chance that Hermoine will hook up with Harry.

Yet fanfiction is the lowest form of fiction ever. It's fictional things, based on fictional things. Makes you think there.
Fanfics present H/Hr so much because the H/Hr fans are upset in one form or another that JK isn't putting Harry with Hermionie, so they make their own versions. R/Hr fans don't appear on the net, but we outnumber you greatly.

Harry and Hermionie will never get together, she has abolished this in interviews, and its is clear in the books as well. Please, got over it, ther is no hope for that of which you desire here.

oh, brother. Enough with the Rope-a-dope strategy, already! She doesn't do the Rope a dope strategy for every single thing in the book. And did you ever stop to think that maybe if Ron and Hermione started dating, they'd be nicer to each other? After all, in the sixth book, when Hermione asked Ron to that Slug Club thing, (Which was ruined, when Ron started going out with Lavender.) Both Ron and Hermione became politer to each other. And as I said, Ron had to go and mess things up by snogging Lavender. and when JK Rowling usually says something like these two people are not going to get together, she'd probably mean it, for the fact that it was an interview. She practically confirmed that Ron and Hermione were getting together, and now saying Harry and Hermione getting together, is almost as unbelievable as Draco and Hermione getting together, which JK Rowling completely confirmed that Draco and Hermione are NOT getting together.

Actually, they calculated a number of Harry Potter shipping Fanfics on one website, in which the different couples are organized, and I saw that there was even more Ron/Hermione fanfics than Harry/Hermione fanfics. I guess it depends on the fanfiction website.

I think fanfic is the ultimate medium - anything, and I mean ANYTHING, can happen. The writers are not constrained by the conceits of the series, nor by JK's plan. Also, fanfiction improves your own writing style for if you ever wished to puplish your own work - and some people even turn fanfiction into a living - all those star wars and star trek books are essentially fanfiction! 😄

You misinterprete what I ment....I didn't mean fanfic were BAD.
I meant they were the most fictional thing to ever occur. A fictional stroy, based on a fictional story. Unless you made a fan,fic, on a fanfic, you couldn't get more fictional.
