but why would she put all those clues in there if Ron and Hermione were never going to get together? And I think she might be trying to show that the Hero doesn't always get the girl, because that always seems to happen. I think she's trying to show that sometimes the hero's friend could be the lucky one. besides she sort of already changed the tables when it got to book 4, because I was suspecting Harry and Hermione before that Yule Ball scene, though, to tell you the truth, even then I didn't like the idea of H/Hr.
