Of course I don't mean immature. If he's mature, he'll be able to handle the fact that a girl has a crush on him, as opposed to many of the horribly immature boys I know who completely flipped out when they found out I liked them. How do I know he is? Well buddy, I've read him through and through, about a total of 30-something times, so I know how he is.

Do you know just how hard it is to get over a crush of 2 years? I do. Now imagine doubling that. That's quite a lot to forget, don't you think? She probably did realise that she had no chance, but even still, you can't forget feelings that quickly.

hey, lily and james didn't seem like the perfect couple either. they used to shout at each other etc, and look what happened to them. I totally agree azyne and i rekon ron and herm are perfect for each other.

I'm a ROCK-HARD STRAIGHT AND STEADY R/H AND H/G SHIPPER. Reasons? Ron loves Hermione. That's obvious. If you couldn't tell, reread Chpt 23, The Yule Ball, GoF. And she likes him right back. Why does she glare when Fleur kisses Ron? Why does she "watch him with a strange look on her face"? Why does she kiss him on the cheek once before the Quid match, and who knows if she kissed him at the end of GoF like Harry, maybe even end of OotP.
As for H/G, if you want a concise answer, it's cuz Ginny could never get over a crush of 4 years that quickly (she's pretending) and Harry...he's just clueless. He's not interested in love yet; Cho was just a "fling". But he'll realise it. (If you want a longer answer, go to the thread "hp and hg".
For all you H/H shippers: THE BOOKS ARE IN HARRY'S POV. Everyone would know if he liked Hermione, just like everyone knows he liked Cho. She was described as a "very pretty girl" and Harry always felt funny when she was around. So obviously he doesn't like Hermione!!!!
You guys she likes miss sixty clothes ...that clothes is cute ...yah sometimes she doesn't show it but in vanity fair she said one of her favorite clothing line is miss sixty and she owns juicy couture clothes...I mean that is cute !!!
Anyway about the ships....I think H/H would be cute....but in the end it soesnt really matter who harry ends with ....I think most ppl couldn't care less because romance isn't the emphasis of the book.

Personally I don't see her like that. She is young and she is just experimenting with life. But I do agree that it was a little bit strange seeing her dating so early on since I always thought of her as the "baby" in the group. Anyway I never really thought of her as the one for Harry. She always held Harry in "hero" status which in my mind does not make for a good pairing. Hermione is the one who knows him through and through and likes Harry for just being Harry. Personally I like the Ginny/Draco pairing. However D/G seems like it's only going to happen fanon-wise and not in canon.
Yep she did in an interview with Katie Couric. A lot of H/H shippers think that she just said that to throw off her readers but I am not so convinced; I think she meant every word of it. It is sad that she did that though and not just for arguments sake. She took away all hope of H/H happening for me before the series even ended which is bad since waiting to see if they would happen or not was part of the fun of the book. I would have rathered to live in ignorant bliss. It was a pretty stupid thing to do.

~At the end of the CoS film, great emphasis is placed on Hermione's return from the hospital wing whereas in the book, it is briefly mentioned. Perhaps hinting at some future event.
~Ron & Hermione pay extra attention to each other concerning Viktor and Fleur. Jealousy perhaps...??
