Yeah, I totally agree.
I don't. I think it was brilliant of her, and I respect her for every word of it. The theme of the book is not love; all lovesick girlie girls should realise that! She would never say that in the end Voldemort dies and blah blah, if that was true. But if R/H was true, and more than half the world knew it (since it's so obvious), why not fix up those giddy girlie girls and tell em that if they wanted a puzzling romance novel, they could go buy a Harlequin series.
Besides, she never said it straight out. Katie Couric, being as ignorant as she is and thinking along the lines of "Hero gets the girl", went, "So, is there going to be any snogging between Harry and Hermione?" and JKR made a face (which was priceless!) and said "Do you really think it will be Harry and Hermione?" (or something like that) and ...I forget Katie's reply, but I think it was just laughing. So for anyone who can take a hint, you know it's NOT gonna be H/H.

I've heard of SugarQuill heaps, but never actually been, maybe I should check it out.
Should you...boy, oh boy, should you ever!!! Only if you're into R/H and H/G. Nothing else is allowed there. That's why it rocks.
Hermione is the one who knows him through and through and likes Harry for just being Harry.

Great thread lara_boffa...👆~Hermione & Ron~
Reasons...
~Their relationship is a sort of bickering. ((Similar to Han & Leia in SW and look how they ended up....please don't be annoyed with me for making this comparison in a HP forum))
~At the end of the CoS film, great emphasis is placed on Hermione's return from the hospital wing whereas in the book, it is briefly mentioned. Perhaps hinting at some future event.
~Ron & Hermione pay extra attention to each other concerning Viktor and Fleur. Jealousy perhaps...??
And Kaiden, you should try it too. If you like R/H. Even if you don't. This'll guide you... 😄

Why is she sometimes called Amidala, and sometimes called Padme?
She was born Padmé Naberrie. When she became Queen she took the name Amidala. She was then known as Queen Amidala. In Menace she sometimes disguised herself as a handmaiden and was then Padmé again.
In Clones she is Senator Padmé Amidala. I presume that by Episode III she will be known as Padmé Amidala-Skywalker just, perhaps not openly.
I hope I didn't confuse you further.

Thank you SO much azyne!! I loved it!! It was a VERY amusing read. I'm glad I found something that incorporates SW & HP as I loved them both!!
Thank you again, sorry for temporarily side-tracking from HP. I believe the best HP pairing is Hermione & Ron.

Hmm, I say Ron/Hermione and Draco/Ginny, and also ONE THAT WAS NOT POST HERE is Harry/Luna. Why? I just like them and they make sense. Want more reasons? Well, I could tell you, but I would fill like ten pages or a whole big one, so I decided to keep my reasons to me.
W00t - Draco/Ginny would be great. I think I've read too much of the Draco Trilogy by Cassandra Claire and I'm not too fond of Draco/Hermy

Urrrgh, I tried to read that and nearly BARFED. Will you belive me when I say literally??? I was gagging. Draco/Hermione just isn't right, no matter how good the author writes it.
Lyn, I'm so glad you liked it!! I just knew you would. ✅
