Saw Tool at Download this year in June.

They were incredible. Played all of my utmost favourite songs of theirs.

Metallica were on too, two of the best performances I've seen.

I strongly doubt Metallica even touched tools performance

well they are playing a show together, tool opening. so we'll soon see wont we?

Tool is coming to my city here in a couple months. 😱 *must get tickets*

I so want to go though, I've never been to a concert before and this would be the greatest band to see live.

If you're going to see Tool for a night out with your buddies, you're missing the point. You don't go there to have a social, you go there to watch/listen to Tool, and if that's not enough then maybe go see Green Day.

They're not a band you just go to see for the sake of, or you're missing the point also.

No, I mean I'd want to go either way, but with friends there it would be even more enjoyable. Not just a buddy night, but a night for great music with friends.

It wouldn't be just to see for the sake of seeing, it would be memorable because they are one of my favorite bands, and it would be my first concert too.

That's fair enough.

Yeah, they're seemingly a lot more people's favourite band nowadays, rather odd. There seems to be a bit (lot) of bandwagonning with this album.
