Why not? It's been in development for years, longer then most real movies. Unless it's one of the best movies of all time, it will be a disapointment because there's no valid excuse for it taking so long to get the thing out unless it's for an extreme amount of quality.

We don't care about your pirating. At all. So stop wasting forum space. Just because you're able to download a movie doesn't give you any "power."So IGN says that April 25th is the official release date. Being as what was posted on the official North American Advent Children site, I'll believe it. There's been enough time for them to do what they've needed to do with it. I'll be expecting it on the 25th.
It's also on AC.net: http://adventchildren.net/

Finally an Official US Release Date!
After months of speculation and rumors, an official US release date has finally been given for Advent Children. The movie will be released on April 25th for both DVD and UMD as a special double-disc set. Unfortunately Last Order is not set to be included as a special feature.Official Square-Enix press release: http://www.square-enix.com/na/company/press/2006/0213/ [/B]

A voice cast list, listed on 1up.com, but not confirmed by Square Enix, however it looks accurate to me.
Originally posted by b-danDid you read any of it? At all? This is the first release date to be officially confirmed by SQAURE ENIX. 'Net' is simply reporting on the official statement issued by the creators of the movie. Square Enix NEVER said anything about November 29th, it was pure speculation, never condoned by Square Enix.
ya net also said it was coming out on november 29th srry bout all the posts
Sorry about the posts? Why couldn't you make it one post? You knew what you were doing.

That's not it, sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I already have the soundtrack, I was just wondering if anyone had it uploaded because I wanted to put it as background music on my blog, but I found a hosting site. Thanks anyway.
The Computer Help Forum may be for you, then. I don't know of many free mp3 hosting sites, though, due to the nature of the content being easily pirated.
"Sony released the details on the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children animated movie.
The 100-minute film will be released on both the DVD and PSP on April 25. The Special Edition two-DVD set will sell for $26.96 and the UMD, it appears, will cost two dollars more. That doesn’t seem to make sense, since there is no mention of whether the UMD will come on two discs or one. Why don’t they sell a DVD/UMD pack?
Anyway, the DVD bonus features include a story digest, deleted scenes, a making of featurette, footage from the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children’s Venice Film Festival showing and a sneak peek of the upcoming FFF VII games."
just reinforcing it from another site 🙂

WOW this thread is really old, someone shuld shut it down j/k. FF7 advent children was a awesome movie i got the version thats like 70% complete 🙁 so it has missing scenes and some detail where missing and 2 menus that dont work on title menu area.
Here is some of the news about the cast:
The stars of the movie's English-language cast were also revealed today. Steve Burton, who gamers may know as the voice of Cloud Strife in the Kingdom Hearts games, was a lock to reprise the role of Cloud for the movie, but two Hollywood starlets will also become very familiar to FF fans soon. Rachael Leigh Cook (Josie and the Pussycats, She's All That) and Mena Suvari (American Beauty, Six Feet Under) will voice Tifa and Aerith, respectively, in both Advent Children and the upcoming PlayStation 2 game Kingdom Hearts II.
Sorry bud, but a) we don't talk about illegal downloads, and b) those weren't revealed today, but rather a week or two ago.

Vincent Valentine: Steve Blum
Barett Wallace: Beua Billingslea
Cid Highwind: Chris Edgerly
Yuffie Kisaragi: Christy Romano
Cait Sith: Gregg Ellis
Red XIII: Liam O'Brien

Tseng: Ryun Yu
Elena: Bettina Bush

Zack: Rick Gomez
Aerith Gainsborough: Mena Suvari

I compiled interviews with the voice actors for Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith, as they were interviewed for the upcoming game Kingdom Hearts II, where they play the same characters. The interviews are about a minute for each actor, and includes finalized in-game footage of their voices coupled with the character. I'd imagine this wouldn't be too far off for Advent Children. Very interesting, and I think they'll be good english actors.
