Benjii didnt look at her "she has too..if she doesnt think of the oain and suffering she'll go through...she told me too" he squeezed harder and felt her heart slow again

Kiki flinched and coughed softly. "Hurry." Steph stopped halfway down and shook her head. "Why?.... Why do so many people have to die Benjii?"

Benjii shook his head "many have to...thats the way of life...it happens" he squeezed harder and wanted to stop but forced himself to go on

Kiki slowly closed her eyes and took a few more breaths as she waited for her heart to stop. Steph shook her head and slowly walked towards them. "Why Benjii... Put her down.."

Benjii, calm, shook his head "i cant do that..its her time and it has to be done by my hand and no one elses" he closed his eyes and turned away, squeezing tighter than before

Kiki tried to scream, her throat yet again being crushed. Steph put her hand on his shoulder. "Put her down Benjii.... You know you should... There can be another way... Put her down."

Benjii again shook his head "there is no other way...none" he sighed and squeezed as tight as he could. he felt things rip and bones break and crush under his grip "i'm sorry Kiki"

Kiki's eyes snapped open and there came a final little squeak from her lips. Her neck was broken and torn away from her body. Her body went limp and her shining eyes dulled in color. Her spirit walked into Benjii's body, pulling at his evil side. Steph screamed and fell to her knees with her hands over her mouth. "Oh god.. Benjii..."

Benjii felt the lightest tug and fell over with Kiki still in his hand "its over...its over" he shook and pulled Kiki's body close to him and whispered "we beat it my love...its over" he looked at Steph and sobbed "please understand that it was fate that made it happen..not me"

Kiki smiled and slowly walked to the gates, waiting for Vrix as she watched over Benjii. Steph nodded and kissed his cheek. "I understand.... It's ok hun.. It's over. you're free." She smiled and hugged him. "You're free."

Benjii weakly nodded "it is...but its goin to happen, the apocalypse" he stood weakly but fell over "damn it!" he sighed and clutched his sides

Vrix collapsed to the floor. Finally satisfied that everything worked. Another exlosion, followed by another, someone, or, many people screamed. In pain.

"Oh god help us!" A voice wimpered somewhere.

Vrix, spiritually, walked up to Kiki. He embraced her.

Kiki bit her lip and turned her head away. "I should have stopped.... Why hasn't it stoped... The evil is out of Benjii... I dragged it out myself... That should be enough... Damn it why won't this end?!" She sunk to her knees and cried softly as she watched the world she once knew burn. "Vrix.... Oh god please be safe Vrix.." Some one walked up to her. She looked up and smiled, then pushed herself to her feet and hugged him.

Steph looked over at Vrix. "Why did you do that? Can't you see it's over? He's done! Enough fighting... Benjii why won't it stop?"

"The guards ran over, bewldered. "Uh, uh, Benjii? Whatever you are. If yo dont want my men shooting you, for killing their respected leaders, you'd better go! Run. I also share their feelings." He raised his gun. So did seven others. All pointed at Benjii.

Steph wiped her eyes and looked over at Vrix. "Is he dead?... Can't you stop it Benjii?.. The apocalypse?" She leaned down and helped him up. "You started it right?" Once the guards ran in she stood up. "Don't shoot... Please... Kiki didn't die in vain. Look! My husband is back to normal please don't shoot."

"I..." The guard looked into Steph's eyes. "Fine. But I will not be held resposible for my mens action. My last comment still stands. RUN. Find shelter. Hmm, the subway is two blocks away! Im going there. You three..." Directed. "Bring Kiki's and Vrix's bodies." Reluctantly, they obeyed.

Steph nodded and glanced down at Kiki and Vrix before taking Benjii's hand and helping him to his feet. "Come on... I know where we can go." She looked up at the soldiers. "Thank you."
