USH'S MATRIX GAME- Zion play thread.

could be seeing as the game doesn't have a willpower or a stat like that. Tho i doubt it will fall into Charisma Aliies

It looks like the teams are:

Percy
San
Barbarossa
Cloud
Melis
Vay Vetgun

Shez
Mors
Ares
Burn
Falcon
Firewall
Hephaestus

I can't remember what ship Azrael was on in the last game... But that's the one he'll be on again.

However, to even the teams, even if I'm crewing the Shez, I'll team up with the Percy. That ok?

I'm offended. You forgot me.

I think Azrael was on the Percy last time around too.

really, not a high stat... charisma would also reflect mental fortitude and determination, not just being charming or intimidating, that's where I based my theory off of...

More important than any of that is that Agents are simply boring! Just watch how they fight.

They are, of course, personalities, so it can be flexible. Smith- even before his change- had a higher Charisma than the others.

Trick, did you just call Klez 'Vay Vetgun'? I think he'll have words with you about that...

Based on preferences and past assignments, characters are now uploaded into the Temporary reference thread. I have 8 all as it stands. Currently unassigned are:

Balder
Hawk
Sirin
Melkor

If they go two each, we have ten each and a good* level for the game. With Storm and Fire absent for the training mission, that would make it nine a team for training.

* and by good I mean 'absolutely massive'

Oh, and because a. she's played the longest of anyone that ship, b. she knows the system and c. she'll poke everyone if she is not. I'll cut to the chase and declare San the First Officer of the Persepolis.

Yay! Go San

Could you tell me more about those two ships? I am currently a bit too busy to read alll the previous threads.

Shez is captained by the mad/brilliant Captain Dallas, Percy by the thoughtful, planning Captin Marduk. Shez is the more directly plot related ship, but this game grew to the point where the distinction became irrelevant. Shez is meant to be a big bastard of a shoip and the Percy a smaller recon, but plsayer numbers are kinda messing with that too.

That's a good turnout!
This is going to be quite interesting 😈

Would the Shez be bigger than the Hammer?

I think we can say same size. If we make the assumption that the Hammer is as big as it gets, and Neb was running 7 crew (plus two real world) in the first film, we can be comfortable with that. Or even keeping Shez as Neb sized, just crwoded.

Actually, Melkor is pretty new to Zion, and young as well, so he is still a bit too schocked/excited to choose the ship himself.....

I am leaning towards Percy, as I don`t want to be surrounded by veterans of previous game, but you can choose for me.

I reckon that about Neb-sized, the hammer had about six to eight guns, you only wanted five...

So what did you think of the rough sktch of the Shez I posted earlier?

Well, Hammer also has those hi-tech remote operated guns, which neither ship here does, so the ships aren't identical.

And it looked good!

Melk- ok, we'll see what the others want.

Yeah, they're response-time was lightning fast... I expect there would be a slight lag in rapid targeting for the enclosed-turrets mounted on the Scheherazade or the Persepolis, the skeletal framed ones are lighter though more vunerable to harm.

I'll go with the Shez.

I'll go with the Percy.

Yay!

And go with Percy, Melkor. We're more sane.

...

Relatively speaking, anyway.

Meh, I'll just keep to what I was - and if that's the Percy, well then, at least I can feel kinda senior in the crew. 😛

Let's get to it, then!

As for Klez... I have no idea, but I read 'Yay Vetgun' as Vay Vetgun. Sorry about that - I'm not sure why I didn't double check (and didn't notice 'Vetgun' is just Veteran Gunner). My bad.
