USH'S GAME EPISODE I-"AVALAR" - Dark Side (Edna Witch, queeq, Captain Rex, yerssot)

The Jedi was preparing to leap through the window onto the roof already. Almost balletically, he follows you onto the roof before he fully realises what is happening!

The Jedi is dressed in rough clothes, not robes. He is quite young, but is clearly no Padawan; his hair flows quite long.

His blue sabre is already drawn, and his face is full of surprise.

One more thing; a red stain is slowly spreading down near his right hip.

Ok! A duel now starts, I create a seperate thread in which Queeq can fight his duel. The rest of you continue to post here as normal.

Meanwhile...

Edna, the Jedi left the Landing Authority and split up. The Master seems to be heading towards the cable car area; the others become quickly lost in the crowds.

Edna, now aware that her presence has probably already been sensed by the jedi master decides she may as well follow her but keeps far enough back not to appear to threatening. She wanted to know what this trouble maker was up to!

Somewhat to your surprise, the Master's mind appears to be on other things. If she had any sense, she would run from this place immediately!

She heads to the cable cars, looks at it briefly, and decides better. She sneaks over to a nearby maintenace cupboard, breaks in, and does not emerge,

What on earth could she be doing in there? Edna walks over towards the door and places her ear against it to see if she could hear the jedi's movements inside before she took the risk of entering herself.

She's talking to someone... there is a certain amount of activitiy... someine climbing into something?

Edna opens the door ever so lightly but slowly so as not to make a noise to try and hear more of the conversation going on inside!

Kuylen taught you how to calm your mind exactly to try and prevent detection from Jedi in a situation like this, but it is still a nerve-wrackinbg experience...

The Jedi Master seems to have donned a maintenance outfit, and has been talking to a maintenance worker as if they are old friends. And she is climbing into a maintenance vent!

Looking back, you can tell that it is a vent that helps circulate the air between the upper and lower areas. The metal tube, on;y just large enough to admit a person, stretches all the way up to the top of the base! It's be a difficult climb, but if the Master can make it she will be in the secure area!

Hmmm! A hard and long climb, thinks Edna! Plenty long enough to warn the master! The maintenance person is obviusly a traitor but can be dealt with another time!

Edna rushes back off to findthe master and warn him that she has just found the master gundark climbing up towrs the secure area.

The cable car is slow, but faster than the climb through the shaft, for sure.

Kuylen is waiting at the Concourse at the top. He has put his pelisse on, and cuts quite an impressive figure as it slowly flaps behind him in the air conditioning. As you run towards him, he looks at you expectedly.

"You've found something?" he asks

"She's coming mater! Up the ventilation shaft! But you have already sensed her haven't you!"

"I knew she was coming," said Kuylen. "I didn't know exactly where from. You have done well. I will have this place cleared reayd for when she gets here. Do you want to watch this?"

Me? I would be honoured! However I feel i have failed you master! I am afraid I lost track of the young one!

"He's not that important," says Kuylen, starting to head away to prpare the concourse. "Once Quam has dealt with the stragglers and I have killed their Master the rest will be no threat."

"Now. What did you think of the,, from what you saw?"

They seemed far too overconfident in themselves! And clumsy! They seemed so very clumsy! Especially the young one! He obviously has much to learn!

Kuylen nods.

"The Order is not what it was. Their time is past, young one. Remember that. It is our turn now. Soon you will see that even their Masters are a shadow of the heroes that once were."

I don't dout that one bit! And I look forward to witnessing you crush this supposed master!

"Then now it starts..." says Kuylen. "Be careful. Make sure she does not come naer you. A Jedi Master is VERY dangerous."

Indeed, soon after the Jedi Master apporaches the concourse from a nearby corrdior. Only a handful of passangers from thee cable car arew in the concourse at the time; she tries to mingle with them but is not successful.

Kuylen is waiting for Gundark as she tries to exit the concourse.

"Master Gundark," he says, matter of a factly, before he starts to remove his Pelisse.

"Do I know you?" asks the Master, slowing her pace.

"No," says Kuylen, laying out his pelisse next to himself. "But at the Termple I knew the names and faces of every Master."

And with that, he draws and ignites his purple sabre and engages the Master!

Their fight is being covered in a seperate thread. As there is at least one observer to thi fight, it can be interfered with; if you wish to do so say so here, and the results will be seen in the seperate thread.

Kuylen's fight starts well, as his sheer speed and power drives back the surprised Master, but trhen he years of experience start to make a difference, and the fight becomes more even. But everyone knows, NO-ONE can kill a Jedi Master., That Kuylen is still alive is a miracle.

Excitedly, it looks like Kuylen is getting the upper hand as he drives an elbow into the face of the Master. But then, Edna, you norice something odd; the concourse is starting to fill with pirate security guards, down the bottom and on all three balconies.

Odd; Kuylen ordered this place cleared, didn't he?
