USH'S GAME EPISODE I-"AVALAR" - Dark Side (Edna Witch, queeq, Captain Rex, yerssot)

"It's started," says Kuylen. "There is no turning back now. We are revealed. The Jedi Order will not rest until we are destroyed."

Kuylen turns to you, Quam.

"But we will destroy them first. Avalar is the seed of their destruction."

Quam, you can't help thinking how annoying it would be, however, if your manifest destiny was ruined by Krisha's incompetence. Still, Chion is with her. He couldn't be more different than Krisha- silent, inscrutable, and frighteningly efficient.

"Avalar.... what's Avalar got to do with it?"

Kuylen smiles.

"We'll be there soon enough... we just have to keep the pirates and our people on Damagran happy for a little longer."

"Them or us?" Quam replied with a smile while gently stroking the lightsabre under his left arm.

"It's always them or us..." says Kuylen, quietly, almost distractedly. He seems to have stopped listening to you. He comes to with a start.

"Hmm," he says. "Hade is taking too long. I may go down myself."

"Bye". Quam waves slowly as he slumps back in his chair.

Kuylen slips out of the room.

A few minutes later you are surprised to see someone else come in. It is Pelloran, the head of the pirates.

"Quam..." he says, curtly. "Kuylen not around?"

"You talk to me", Quam said as he slowly rose from his seat.

Pelloran's head swings quickly from side to side as he looks around the room.

"Where are the others?" he asks.

Quam slowly walks up to Pelloran. "They're busy."

"Well then," says Pelloran. "Perhaps you can out my mind at ease over something. I hear word that the Jedi have arrived. Under normal circumstances this would spell the end of our little operation. Kuylen assured me this would not happen. Do I have any reason to think that this still applies?"

"Yes", Quam said with a wide grin. "ME!"

"Do I take it you intend to eliminate all of them?" asks Pelloran. You can't see them, queeq, but you know he is ALWAYS accompanied by armed guards. Competent guards too, none of whom would be stupid enough to move against you. Of course, Kuylen has guaranteed Pelloran's safety around here...

"And what about those that will come looking for them even if you DO kill them all?"

"Who said I was going to kill them all?" Quam replied. "Edna's after one, Kuylen takes out the leader so that only leaves two. Why are you afraid?"

"He's sending the child after one," says Pelloran, unimpressed. "And what of the others that will come? Do you plan to make war on the whole Jedi Order? I was told we would never be found."

Quam places a patronising hand on Pelloran's shoulder. "You worry too much."

"Jedi are bad for business," says Pelloran. "I didn't have to learnt that twice. Tell Kuylen to get rid of them. NOW. Or this clan is pulling out."

"It's already being taken care off. After all, the Jedi are no match for us."

"They'd BETTER not be," says Pelloran. He turns and leaves.

Quam shakes his head. "YOU are no match for us either, Pelloran." queeq whispers slowly as he sees the bodyguards moving virtually invisible through the shadows.
